Place is horrible food had no flavor as a Colombian national ive had so much better in Houston Tx . The rice wasn’t even cooked fully the beans were just heated up. The arepas tasted like a Mexican gordita this place is horrible would never recommend . When you ask for meat they give you ground beef that’s not what a tradition bandeja paisa or what they call ( Colombian platter ) the patacones are just fried plantains they aren’t flattened like what real patacones are and weren’t even cooked fully

I was very surprised to be in a Latin restaurant with no Latin owners. So, I decided to be on the safe side and get an easy dish on the menu; empanadas. However, the empanadas were very doughy, greasy and had very little filling- A very dry chicken and bits of grain of rice...smelled divine...that is why it was upsetting it didn't taste good. I always try to search authenticity, this just wasn't it. If you never had authentic latin food, I can understand why some of you would like this. But if you like your food with that latin Sazón, this is not the place for you.

I have eaten at this place 4 times in the last 2 weeks, I am from Cartagena Colombia and this is the best Colombian food I have found in the States and definitely the best in the Dayton area, it tastes just like back home. Arepas and Co was also ranked the top 10 best Colombian Restaurant in the United States. The owners are from Colombia and I have tried almost everything on the menu. Perfect! What can I say, so good so good so good. Do yourself a favor and try this Dayton Gem out, if you want a great home cooked meal like your grandma would cook then it's a must

Worse food I have ever had! I ordered arepas, and when I received it, it was uncooked and instead of using cornmeal flour, they used Mexican flour it was disgusting! I spent $37 for uncooked, unflavored food. This is not authentic, this is not colombian food. What a waste of my money! Absolutely terrible!

Rice was mushy, beans were mushy and tasted like they were canned. They do not give you shredded beef but instead give you ground beef instead. Ground beef tasted rancid. I had to throw my whole platter away.

Just got Doordash from Arepas. Best empanadas ever. I'm crazy about the Hawaiian-sauce but also love the heat of Scorcho.
