I will start out by saying the atmosphere was cool and our food was good! However, my cream soda was nasty, I took one sip and I asked to switch it out and they refused to give me something different. Then they wanted to charge me full price for two drinks. How hard is it to swap out a drink?? Not good for business.

Pleasant unexpected experience. We were expecting good and got Outstanding. I had the Sausage with Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The Sausage was Very Good but star was the Greens and Mac & Cheese. Definitely going back. The service was also very good, the waitress was there when needed, never had to wait for refills.

Stopped for lunch after visiting the park. What a wonderful surprise! We enjoyed our meal and the location tremendously. A great variety of of craft beer and really good entrees. The sides with our meal were outstanding, everything was a star. Must tries: the macaroni and cheese, and the collard greens. A meal from the sides would be great on the their own! The wait staff was friendly and helpful, made our visit even better. This is a must revisit location. Thanks for a great lunch.

There's nothing that the team at the Carillon Brewing Company can't cook well. The food is served in generous portions and reasonably priced. Their meats are all gently smoked... I'd never had smoked meatloaf before. It was great and the chicken thighs and smoked sausages were good too. The best part was that all of the different sides were so good. We tried most of them and ended up sharing among the four of us because each one was so well prepared and tasty in its own way.

Our experience here with a large work crowd was deeply upsetting and frustrating. It has led to multiple people saying that while they were initially curious about the place and coming back when we showed up that they no longer will ever return.

When we came, we asked for a menu. She handed us a drink menu and acted like that was the only one. It took a while to get a drink. There was one waitress for about 40 people and other workers were outside and standing around. We finally got our drinks, I only received one in the 2 hours we were there. She came in about 1.5 hours in and asked if we'd be ordering food. She hadn't come back, and so we went to the bar to ask to pay and leave because we had somewhere else to be. They said they couldn't, and we had to go sit down and wait for the waitress. She finally came and brought checks to hand to the room and rang mine up wrong. She wanted me to wait until she went through the room to correct mine, so we went to the bar again. They tried to tell us they couldn't pay us out again, but finally did.

On top of it all, one of our coworkers overheard in the bathroom some workers saying it was so slow they were going to send some people home.

It was ridiculous. We won't likely return and were very disappointed.

The aesthetic of the place was nice though.

Shouldn't be a part of the dayton ale trail. More food facing than brewery with limited bar space. Was told they don't serve at the bar by the hostess, then watched another couple walk up and order. Very limited selection, and was a 20-minute wait for two people at 5pm.

Order with the hostess, get your stamp, and move on.

The beer flights are perfect for testing out their brews! My son said the pretzel was bussin’ and I definitely agree!

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! All of the food we had was full of flavor, neither over nor under seasoned and cooked perfectly! Everything tasted home cooked, like we were invited to a family bbq. The server we had, Simmi, was friendly, attentive and had personality. I would rate this place a smooth 15/10 🙌🏽 I can’t wait to go back and try some other things I saw on the menu!

Loved the atmosphere and food however I wish they bring back the Reuben. It was the best item on the manure!!

Like many of the recent comments, don't come hungry. They have a 5 item menu and 1 ( I can count them on one finger) cook. They have more runners than cooks. Smart folks leave.

Food is decent, but it was an hour wait for food 😳 And there wasn’t that many people. Won’t be going back.

Waited over an hour and a half for our food as we watched people that came well after us receive their food, by the time we were finally able to find someone to ask about it we eventually got our food which was cold and ridiculously dry like it had been sitting on a counter for an hour. Looks like the kitchen is ran by children 16-23 year olds with zero restaurant experience and the guys pouring drinks looked stoned out of their minds. The place was not busy so there was zero reason for this to happen. I have worked in many restaurants in the past when I was 15-25 that were extremely slammed and still got everyone's meals out within 15-20 minutes after receiving their food order there’s no excuse for this incompetence and I 100% do not recommend eating here

We visited the Brewery Thursday night, 19th, at 5:15’ish. The three of us had our own tickets/ orders. Two of them came out. The first delivered were appetizers. They were both delicious (pretzel with bier cheese) and fried sauerkraut balls. The second was the smash burger and fries- no complaints by that person. My order never arrived. I honestly think it was about 45 minutes that I waited before I brought this to the servers attention. He said they were working on it. It was just a braut with fries and a side order of coleslaw. 10 minutes later I had to go up to the counter and ask. They were still working on it. Asked for my order to be packed to go. About 5 minutes my food came. With potato chips (no fries) and no coleslaw. Had to go to the counter again to get my coleslaw- never bothered with the fries since they would be cold by the time they were eaten. She gave me the container of coleslaw.

While waiting for my coleslaw, another woman came to the counter stating she waited an hour and 15 minutes.

The servers at the counter barely cared, never apologized.

Won’t be going back…..

PS: They didn’t have schnitzel or German Potato Salad. Opening at 4:00, why were they out? Sounds like poor management.
