We enjoyed a delicious brunch this morning at Culp’s Cafe. Both the food and atmosphere were excellent! Jose Calzada and his family have elevated the dining experience there since they took over management. My friends and I enjoyed Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp and Grits, and Brioche French Toast. Highly recommend 🤩
We stopped by for lunch on a day they were extremely busy and short staffed. I asked, in a polite way if they thought we would be able to eat and get our check within a certain amount of time. They assured me this would be possible. It was obvious the wait staff were incredibly busy but they remained pleasant and checked in on us through our time there.
