Our experience was wonderful and we are still talking about it weeks later! The atmosphere felt like fine dining yet you can dress casually. The food was outstanding and portions were very generous. The Jasmin tea I ordered was served in a teapot, so cute! I ordered a chef special-thin noodles, vegetables, chicken, shrimp and the sauce was so delicious. Other orders at our table were orange chicken and another meat and veggie medly. Highly recommend and will go back when we are in town.

I went for a luncheon with colegues. The ambiance is very cool. Service was good and the menu has lots of options. The portions served for lunch are dinner size. I needed a to-go box.

This was my first time at China Cottage and it was such a pleasant surprise! The interior is really cool with beautiful decor and a great overall aesthetic that makes the whole experience feel special.

The food was fantastic — the crab Rangoon was absolutely delicious, and I loved my garlic chicken. We had a table of 9 with a lazy Susan in the middle, which made it so fun and easy to share appetizers and dishes with everyone.

Our waiter was quick, attentive, and very helpful throughout the meal, which made everything run smoothly even with a large group. Overall, a great experience with great food, great service, and a really unique atmosphere.

The food came quickly and was well prepared. Hot and delicious. Our server, Sebastian is the best. We usually eat here at least once a month and surprisingly, he remembered us. Had a great conversation with him about his home in Guatemala. He's very attentive and makes sure we always have a pleasant experience.

This visit was the longest wait...New Year's Eve. Ha. This was the most packed place in Centerville. Been going here for 30+ years and the staff and food was great. Kudos!!

The cashew chicken is out of this world! The portions are big and the price is good. 1000% recommended.

Just had the sesame beef and it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Somebody poured a bucket of sugar in the sauce and I couldn't eat it. I've gone to this restaurant for years and I don't know what happened. Absolutely inedible.

We ordered carryout for four and spent approximately $80. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

The sesame chicken consisted of very small, heavily breaded pieces with little actual chicken. The beef and broccoli had very little sauce and significantly more broccoli than beef. The Szechuan chicken lacked heat and was mostly breading. The vegetable lo mein was bland and lacked flavor.

Given the cost, the quality and portions did not meet expectations. Overall, this was a 2 out of 10 experience.

We travel 40 minutes to this place, and we are never disappointed! Great food, great value, great service and very clean … and we love the authentic atmosphere!

The food is generally good, but they keep forgetting rice with our order! This has happened three times. I shouldn’t have to tell a Chinese restaurant to actually give out rice with our to go order! Also the last two times we have ordered dishes and they gave us something else, the latest incident was that we ordered chow mein and received chop suey. Do better or we will find another Chinese restaurant to order our takeout.

China Cottage is My favorite Chinese Cuisine. However the last two times I have order takeout from the Centerville location the food has not been good at all. I told myself the last time that that would be the last time I eat the Centerville location. But I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves and unfortunately it's not good. I really hate that this has not been a good experience. I will not be coming ordering take out again from the Centerville location.

However the Trotwood location is always GOOD. I hope Centerville can get it together!

Just incredible all the way. Great prices for lunch specials, huge portions and delicious food. Definitely the best Chinese food I've had this side of the Rockies. Service is fantastic too. Great takeout and great to dine in.
