I have to admit I was disappointed with this location today :( I used to love this China Cottage.

My go-to order has always been the Szechuan chicken, but today it was very disappointing. The chicken was soft, inside and out. Wasn't crispy at all like I remembered, and it didn't come with broccoli like it used to. The sauce tasted great! Overall though it was hard to get through, my boyfriend's sizzling steak disappointed him as well.

I wish I had taken photos, but I did carry-out most recently and had just the nicest experience. It was a last minute idea, so I didn’t preorder—I went t in and ordered at the bar. As I was waiting, the sweet lady behind the bar and I chatted, and then a younger employee joined us, as did another customer nearby. I felt so welcome and so included, and I could tell that most of the folks who work there are either very close as a team or related. Then the food? Outstanding!...
