“Ahidden local gym which feels like Home. The bartenders are very focus on providing great service and are also friendly. feels very much like a local pub which I really like; definitely I feel like a local pub with local people. Prices are very reasonable; though the food is very limited but you can always get a light snack.“

“Timothy's is a University of Dayton mainstay, a bar that has been around since the mid 1960's. I visited here occasionally when I was a student and a recent trip to Dayton to see family and friends brought me back for a nostalgic reacquaintance.
Much has changed with Timothy's since my days of frequent visits in the 1980's. For one, the space is larger. There is a dog friendly patio out front and a second level, including a rooftop patio. The downstairs, on the other hand, looks similar to how it looked back in my college days. It's dark, with a good deal of space but still can get quite crowded on weekends.
Timothy's serves food, with pub grub like wings, pizza, Philly cheese steaks, and other items typical to this type of establishment. The happy hour prices are quite good, and they offer a few craft beers on tap, which I like. Televisions are usually tuned into sports, and if you visit during the less busy times of the week, the noise is moderate, so you can carry on a conversation with little trouble.
The overall cleanliness of Timothy's is an improvement from the past, but it still maintains a certain dive bar look and feel, which can be a turn off to some, but quite appealing to others. So, while much has changed, much has also stayed the same at Timothy's bar on Brown Street. It's a good stopover for a drink or lunch and the happy hour prices will easily help you overlook any of its flaws. I'm glad I took the time to get reacquainted with Timothy's, a University of Dayton bar scene institution.“

“I'm not a huge bar person generally but I know Yellow Cab hosts a ton of events for charities I support and lots of more unique events. We went to give it a try for charity bingo last night and had a great time and even stayed for karaoke after. The bartenders were lovely, drinks were delicious and potent, the crowd was pleasant and welcoming. Just really good vibes all around. And we already love the Pizza Bandit. Yellow Cab is a gem and we will be back!!“
