Took some friends here for the first time. Waited 30 minutes for a table on a Tuesday evening. Service was terrible. They ran out of water due to an issue in the area. Sandwich was overdone. Will not return

First time trying the place out last night. Place was busy but we were seated with no wait. Waited a while for the server to come to us; so long that we had already decided what we wanted to eat.
Server said they were having supplier issues and there were things on the menu that we couldn't get. Ended up getting a kids spaghetti n meatballs, order of potato skins and an Italian sausage sandwich with shoestring fries.
Apparently, the kitchen was backed up because it took about an hour to get our food.
The kids spaghetti n meatballs only came with one meatball even though it was the same size as a frozen meatball. The kid was disappointed but the food runner/server brought out two more which satisfied the kid and she said the spaghetti n meatballs were good but the applesauce that came with it wasn't.
The potato skins weren't very good because they were full of onions like someone just grabbed handfuls and dumped them on the skins.
The Italian sausage sandwich was lacking in flavor. The sausage itself was tough to bite through the casing like it had been microwaved. The bread was a little chewy and there were very few onions on it but the whole thing was drowned in melted cheese and sauce. I felt like this was a very big missed opportunity to make a good sandwich. Should've had more onions and some sautéed peppers on it too give it more flavor and the sausage should've been cooked correctly so the casing wasn't so tough to bite through.
With all this said, I feel like whoever runs this place doesn't have much experience in the restaurant business as the menu should be more streamlined so the kitchen doesn't get so backed up and the food quality could take a front seat instead of a backseat. Even the AI says the reviews show inconsistencies in the food quality. Also, the shoestring fries were pretty boring.
Otherwise, the atmosphere is great and the service was a little lacking but not bad. I hope the one(s) that run this place takes this review seriously and makes the needed changes as I would love to be able to try this place again some day.

Friendly staff. No blaring music. Enough TV's, to watch. Most prices are the going rate, for restaurants in the area. Relaxed atmosphere.

It's a sports bar feel here. The service is excellent and the food is typical. Not bad, just nothing really new. They do have a decent wine pour though, I'll give then that!

Had never heard of the place and grew up in the area but one of there bartenders I knew from a different restaurant and they invited me to come try but unfortunately wasn’t there tonight. Sat at inside bar which was packed and after several min of not being served I went to patio bar which was a big mistake. Looked to be 3-4 tables that had people at it and 8 other people at the bar which quickly became only 2 other people. Seemed to be 3 people working the patio and couple others coming from inside to “help” Ordered beer within a couple min then waited at least 20 min before someone came back to get my appetizer order. Then got my app and it was gone before someone came back to check on me which is when I ordered dinner. From time I ordered beer to time I ordered dinner was an HOUR. When food came out had to ask the woman that brought my food for salt, pepper, napkins, silverware and refill for water. Food was good but again NO one came to check on me to see if I needed anything. Then when I pushed my plate up they came and asked if I was ready for check. Not if I’d like a dessert or another drink. Had the rest of the night been going well I would have ordered dessert and a bourbon so they lost out on those sales. Again my first time here after that I’d rather never come back again. I’m a 40% tipper and I only left 20% and not sure they deserved that.

Great…until it wasn’t.
Our server was very attentive, very friendly. Our food was very good. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes for our table, which during dinner rush was not bad. I was even planning on suggesting to my husband that we come back together since this visit was me and my sisters.
My opinion on our visit drastically changed after our checks were dropped off. One of the other employees, not our server, came and picked up our checks. There were three individual checks - two of us paid in cash one paid by credit card. She came and collected it very quickly. She returned, dropped them back off and quickly walked away. I then noticed that only the credit card slip tray was returned. None of the cash change was returned. We did not say, or were we asked, if we needed any change back. (There was enough change that we should’ve been asked)
At that point we had empty drinks and we were still chatting for about 15 to 20 more minutes with no one ever coming by one last time to see if we were still doing OK or if there was anything else that we needed. We did make an attempt to try to find an opportunity to get our server’s attention, but she was busy and the girl who cashed us out wasn’t seen again.
I did go up before we left and spoke with a manager, which I believe was Mario. I explained the situation and let him know that we would like to get one Diet Coke to go. He acted very dismissive, never once made any kind of attempted an apology and never acknowledged that not bringing cash change back to a customer was not OK.

Been going to Geez for about a year. There food is outstanding. They recently took their onion straws off the menu. They were one of my favorite things. Now they have taken their side of onion rings off. You have to get a basket, which is 7.00 My best friend have lunch here once a week. This keeps up, we will go somewhere else.
