Old school place. Sweet design. Yet no room. Signs everywhere to share. Six tables, small at that. Two small couches with long tables. No where to stand to wait either. I watched a female trip over a phone cord, another drop his coffee trying to fit through to his table. I saw Mother of three letting her kids go lol. Where could the go until a couch came up but run around people. Service was slow which just added to the log jam of people.

I love this place. Vibes are immaculate and it’s always bustling with community members, small events, and gatherings. I particularly get their cold brew, which I find to be the best in the area.

Ghostlight Coffee is such a cozy and welcoming spot in Dayton! I tried their caramel latte, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, smooth, and not too sweet. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, with great music and friendly staff. It’s a great place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and take a break. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area!

I had a very disappointing experience at Ghost Light Coffee. I ordered a drink that is listed on the menu, and I asked for brown sugar to be added. I was told that the brown sugar was “reserved for a special drink” and could not be added to mine, even though the price would have been the same. As a paying customer, I felt this was unreasonable.

When I tried to explain my frustration, the barista told me I could just go down the street to another coffee shop instead. I then asked to speak with a manager, and she told me she was the manager. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and I left feeling disrespected rather than valued as a customer.

There are plenty of coffee shops in the area, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning here after such poor treatment.

Ghostlight Cafe & Bake Shop did not disappoint! The vibe was spot on, the service was fantastic, and the coffee was ridiculously good. AND their fresh baked goods make it a must visit spot. If you haven’t checked it out yet… do yourself a favor and stop in.

Normally I love this place, but the past couple months when I go they’re always out of simple things no matter how early I’m there. Multiple times they’re out of ice, decaf coffee, filters to make pour overs, ect. Just tired of going there and leaving empty handed.
The baristas who work there are always incredibly friendly though!!

A peaceful place for a conversation with a good friend, and coffee that's so good, I go out of my way for it.

Love this place. They have awesome food/pastries. The iced latte was great. Friendly quick service. However they only had one worker so there was a wait/line.
Indoor space is on the smaller side and they don’t have the back room for sitting anymore.
Fine place for work or a friend coffee date.
They have various flavor options too. They sell some things.

They were only ever out of my lavender syrup once.

I’d recommend. Not too far from the Rivers ale metro park.

However it’s in a sketchy part of Dayton so be safe if you’re young and/or female. Lock your car and keep valuables out of sight. They have a small parking lot beside the shop or a bike lock.
