A peaceful place for a conversation with a good friend, and coffee that's so good, I go out of my way for it.

Love this place. They have awesome food/pastries. The iced latte was great. Friendly quick service. However they only had one worker so there was a wait/line.
Indoor space is on the smaller side and they don’t have the back room for sitting anymore.
Fine place for work or a friend coffee date.
They have various flavor options too. They sell some things.

They were only ever out of my lavender syrup once.

I’d recommend. Not too far from the Rivers ale metro park.

However it’s in a sketchy part of Dayton so be safe if you’re young and/or female. Lock your car and keep valuables out of sight. They have a small parking lot beside the shop or a bike lock.

Ghost Light Coffee House, recently lauded by the Dayton Daily News as one of the valley's best, certainly lives up to its reputation. As a devoted coffee enthusiast, I can wholeheartedly agree that it's a top contender, though the Dayton area boasts an impressive coffee scene, with powerhouses like Winans and Pettibone also vying for the top spot. It's truly a testament to the quality of coffee available in our community that such friendly competition exists!
What truly sets Ghost Light apart, and what immediately captivated me, is its unique and wonderfully eclectic atmosphere. Stepping inside, I was instantly transported to a space that felt reminiscent of Yellow Springs – a vibrant, artsy, and slightly whimsical vibe. The walls are adorned with intriguing art pieces, and every nook and cranny seems to hold a new discovery, from quirky curios to charming little details that spark conversation. It’s clear that a lot of thought and personality has been poured into the decor, creating a truly inviting and inspiring environment for enjoying your coffee.
Beyond the aesthetics, the coffee itself is, of course, excellent. While I didn't delve into specific drink names on this visit, the quality of the brew was evident, offering the perfect complement to the captivating surroundings.
Ghost Light Coffee House is more than just a place to grab a coffee; it's an experience. For anyone seeking a top-tier coffee in a uniquely inspiring setting, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. I definitely look forward to returning and further exploring their offerings and soaking in that wonderful Yellow Springs-esque charm.

I ordered a Lavendar London Fog and Husband a Caramel Latte. They forgot the lavender in mine and husband said that his latte just didn't taste right. The baked good selection on a Saturday before 9 was abysmal. I miss the midtown food selection and we've been consistently choosing Warehouse 4 and Pettibone on the weekends since it closed.

Delicious the baristas always make sure to take their time and make your drink exactly how it is supposed to taste!! They never overpower the drinks here with too much flavor other shops I visit sometimes go overboard on the flavors and you can’t even taste the coffee here is the perfect balance of your drink choice and flavor always delicious and comforting ❤️
