The food was amazing, easily the best Indian food I’ve had in Dayton hands down. I took a gamble and tried something I’ve never had before which was the lamb saag and it was awesome! My only complaint is the service is a little slow for my liking but regardless of that I can’t wait to dine here again.

A great addition to the neighborhood. Menu and Buffett have great vegetarian options too! Love the vibe and always great service! Been coming here for years always a great experience.

It's unfortunate that I have to give this place only 1 star, since the lady who owns the place seems to be a lovely person, however she apparently has some dishonest employees working there.

They decided to add some more to the tip I gave. I was shocked when I saw that because there could not have been any misunderstanding about my total bill and the tip that I added, but clearly they messed with it.

This is very suspicious and I will therefore not go back to Gulzars anymore.

Food was alright. Very little chicken, considering the high prices.

We've been to Indian restaurants across the states, in the UK, and even in India- and I'm proud to say that the absolute best Indian food we've ever had (outside of my mom's kitchen) is at Gulzar's. The team at Gulzar's caters to all palettes and takes into consideration the lack of approachability to menus you'll see at other Indian restaurants. There is zero pretension or pointless upcharging here. Just spectacular food and great service to match. Their new location is also stunning. We're shocked whenever we visit because it feels like a Michelin star restaurant you'd find in any major city. On top of it all, the food is outstanding. If you've never had Indian food, you're completely safe to go off the waiter's recommendations alone. No misses here. You have to visit if you're a Dayton local or even if you're just passing through. This place is a 'must-visit' that I believe will be held in the same regard as Bill's Donuts in a few years. Gymkhana's days are numbered. 10/10 my strongest recommendation.

Ordered thru Uber eats. Chicken Dum biryani rice was raw and lumpy. Very bad taste. Made an effort to chew. Didn't provide napkin or plastic wares despite specific request.

Great Presentation but the food is meh. My wife and I love Indian cuisine. Today we decided to give Gulzar’s a shot. We ordered off the dinner menu since most Indian buffets are mild in spice (heat) to please most people.

We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (lvl 8) and Lamb Vindaloo (lvl 10). The proteins were tender and good. The sauces on the other hand were oily and bland. The spice level was a joke, when you order one of India’s spiciest dishes it should be spicy and made with habanero. Fire sauce from Taco Bell is hotter than what we got. The dishes were sweet. They tasted like they were made with a pound of sugar!!

Not once did our servers ask how the meal was and or if we enjoyed the food. We will not be back and will go back to our regular spots like Ajanta and Amar.

Had buffet over the July 4th weekend. Most of vegetarian dishes were decent, with couple of them good. Desert was not good. Ambience is very good and so was staff

Visited tonight after the recent move... Gulzar's continually knocks it out of the park, time and time again. The new location is absolutely stunning. The staff is always friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is ALWAYS exceptionally good. If you've never tried Indian, the biggest they offer is very reasonably priced and offers a WIDE selection of items to help hone in on your preferences.
