Visited on a Sunday for brunch around 11. Restaurant was busy and we were recommended to make reservations, however we were able to get a table for two with very little wait. Food was delicious and service was excellent and quick. We ordered the Hangover Bowl, Meat Omelette, and Fried Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I ordered a side of bacon with a side of Cajun Butter for my waffle. The portions sizes are a good size and the omelette and waffle sandwich are highly recommended. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Dayton - we are from West Palm Beach. You can tell a lot about a place based on their reaction to a potentially bad experience. Sunday night we waited almost 2 hours for our meal - no excuses, transparent to what happened, and did their best to make it right.

Upon arrival host was not welcoming and greeting was poor even though she was met by us with a smile. We gave our phone number for the wait list and waited for our text to be seated. After a short time of less than 15 minutes we returned to the host and were questioned if we had a reservation as if she had not just seen us. This was reflective of the poor greeting as there was no acknowledgement of us at arrival nor anyone else for her to remember as we were the only ones waiting. We come here because of their inclusiveness however we did not feel seen.
Food was delicious and our server Aria with the beautiful pink pants was amazing as well at the young man who brought our drinks. We waited over 1hr for our food which was a little disappointing for just eggs and toast and were in the midst of leaving when the food came to save the bell. Im not sure if the kitchen was short staffed but the restaurant wasn't too full in my opinion. If there are peak hours Google should reflect it or the host should advise before seating so folx can decide to stay or not .
Special shout out to the bar tender for the delicious drink and greeting us better than the host upon arrival.

Love Llly's. They have lots of dishes you won't find anywhere else, and they're healthy. I overheard the chef explaining to a table close by that their steaks were picked up from the butcher just an hour before, so cooked fresh. Now that's amazing. How many places do that? They're in Dayton, Ohio in the Oregon District. On weekends thru the summer, since 2020's covid epidemic, the streets are closed, and many shops, many other eating establishments, and bars are open to partake of, if you'd like. Or just sit outside and chat. You have to try Lily's, though, lots of meals to choose from.
Hey, Lily's, you need to bring back your DELICIOUS CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH JAM on it!! It's to die for, and I've been having withdrawals! And I'm not the only one! BRING BACK THE JAM AND CHICKEN SANDWICH!! PLEASE!!

I don’t review on here unless something is great or terrible, and Lily’s is firmly in the first category. I’ve visited since they opened and felt it was a great brunch spot, but the menu was a bit static for date night dinner. I’m happy to say, they’ve knocked it out of the park with their new menu and Tiki Bar theme. Cocktails were well-crafted and deserving of the price point, food was excellent and the portions were incredible! Best of all was the service. I’ve always enjoyed the waitstaff at Lily’s, but the team they have now truly love their jobs and their customers, and it shows! They collectively serve the customers as a team and work very cohesively. The result was prompt service and getting to interact with multiple wonderful humans. 10/10 will be back again soon!
