Thai 9 Reviews
Normally I would highly recommend, this has always been our “go to “ for great Thai food. Tonight however was not a good experience. Ordered kaniesu only to be told they didn’t have the ingredients to make it. What? Whom ever was cooking tonight must of had a bad day. The pad Thai was the worst I’ve ever had here, hard to describe the flavor but it was definitely off. Just not the same as I’m used to getting. Thai 9 is an atmospheric restaurant located on the outskirts of the Oregon district. The food selection is vast, and everything is well-prepared, even when the place is filled to capacity. The service is prompt, and the staff is attentive. Customers recommend trying the Tom Kah Gai Soup, a coconut milk broth with cilantro seasoning, and the Crab Rangoon appetizer, which is delicious. The restaurant also offers a wide range of vegetarian options. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, and the patio is a great spot to enjoy a meal. The Gyoza is particularly noteworthy, described as one of the best in the Dayton area. The menu includes Thai dishes like Pad Sea Ewe, green curry with chicken, and basil duck, as well as sushi, with a variety of alcoholic beverages like cocktails, beer, and wine. Customers enjoy the Chaitanic, a large sushi, sashimi, and rolls boat that feeds four people. Overall, Thai 9 provides a satisfying dining experience with good food and reasonable prices, making it a fun spot to come and dine despite some noise when busy. Customers have enjoyed the seating, miso soup, and fried rice, though some have noted inconsistencies in the cook time and spice level.
