I stopped in for two egg mcmuffins on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 9:15 AM. There were an army of people working and yet it still took 30 minutes to get my food. No one really seemed to care and the manager didn't seem to care when I told her it was ridiculous that it took 30 minutes for what I ordered. McDonald's on Wilmington Pike needs to remove the Fast Food from their restaurant.

This might’ve been the worst McDonald’s trip of my life. I don’t know what kind of chaos was happening behind the counter, but it definitely made its way into my order.

Let’s start with the basics:
They messed up almost everything. My fries were cold, limp, and tasted like they’d been sitting in a corner since breakfast. My drink was supposed to be no ice — they filled it with ice anyway, and somehow the lemonade was still warm AND had so much pulp it felt like I was drinking it straight from the tree. Also, no straw. So I got to enjoy sipping it like soup from a cup. Delightful.

They handed me a sundae that looked like a crime scene — caramel was everywhere except the sundae. It got all over my hand, my receipt, and worst of all, my car. Thanks for the sticky surprise.

Now onto the nuggets… I ordered a 10-piece, but only got 9. The ones I did get? Scorching hot. Like lava rocks in a box. No warning, no time to cool, just pain. And to top it off — they gave me the wrong sauces.

This whole meal was one long string of disappointment. The only thing they nailed was making me never want to come back. The lemonade was completely unenjoyed. A tragedy in a cup.

I’ve come to this location two Saturday mornings in a row. And both times inside ordering is unorganized and slow. There is young African American boy who works up front who works his butt off trying to help customers, but he can’t do it alone. I witnessed a worker in a black shirt( skinny white girl with glasses blonde highlight striped in her hair) humiliate this young man in front of customers for something he messed up on regarding the front cash register. First off he’s a young kids developing skills in the workplace. You should have handled that situation professionally and spoke with him privately regarding the incident. You spoke to him harshly regarding the incident on the front line and then you went to the register to try and correct the situation and you slammed the drawer. Young man please find you another job! I came close to speaking my mind on your behalf. I guess that black shirt got her feeling like she’s the owner of McDonald’s. In other news step up y’all Saturday morning game service is slow and everyone’s frustrated with it

Here has one of the worst manager ever, doesn’t know how to fix your problem easily, but just want you to pay everything and finish stuff quickly or just cancel all your order that want you to leave as soon as possible. I was using two code on same receipt but I use one for I been working hard to collect the points to redeem the free Fish sandwich. Another one just minus $1.50 for happy meal and they can’t do it. Then they should just quickly change 2 receipts to help me through. But instead that they were just want me to leave asap. Not very friendly here. And find out my order was wrong, I end up pay $6.99 for a happy meal that I said I want extra fries don’t want apple slides and don’t want milk but orange juice. Everything was wrong so I end up didn’t save money and spend more. And when I complain and the manager said yes we didn’t charge you the Apple but extra fries and took my apple away??????? I don’t recommend here at all!!!!

It's McD's so we all know the current vibe which looks great. I did the drive thru and my coffee and a la cart burger patties were hot and cooked to order. Great service!

NEVER mobile order from here there’s no purpose. Every single time i’m asked to pull forward and I sit there for 15+ minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

Every time I go to this McDonald’s, I have to take something back up because it’s not right so tonight on March 4, 2025 I go get my food use the mobile app they don’t start it till you get there so that quite obviously gives them time to read the menu so my sandwich is messed up. I have a allergy to tomatoes. We have ketchup on my sandwich. I call up there I’m told Nobody can read the menu because they’re not from America so what the hell is really going on this, McDonald’s is ridiculous. It never gets your food right and now we have people that can’t read the menu. We got to do something in America. We gotta get our stuff right I’m going to get my food replaced tomorrow night and I will no longer be going to this McDonald’s and I will make sure every McDonald’s and I put a review on. I will make sure I include this address on how bad the service is the 6222 Wilmington Pike!

Ok, you spend $30.00 at flipping McDonalds ( should have known better). Get home, the big macs are cold, the buns are burned, and not even put together correctly. You have one job!! The fries went in the trash!! I will never go to this McDonalds again!!! Be warned, they can't or won't get your order right, and Lord help you if want you want fresh hot food!! Not going to happen!! Travel down the road if you feel the need for McDonalds at the Stroop location!!
