Food isn’t bad at all. Price isn’t bad either. Just make sure you tell them not to over seasoning the food which they tend to do. As long as it’s not over seasoned food is awesome. I haven’t had everything on the menu. I usually order fish shrimp, Philly steak and cheese. They’re all pretty good and the people that are complaining about things they don’t like. I just wouldn’t order it ,is everything good on the menu? I don’t know, but if you don’t like it don’t order it and as for the guy saying they treat Black people bad and differently. That’s not true in fact most of their clientele is black. Every time I go in there the majority of customers are Black people buying food. There are only two tables because the place is small but it’s never been dirty when I’ve been in there. So I think some of the opinions on here that are bad reviews are a bit biase, at least your food is made fresh.

This is a familiar spot for me. I had not come here for quite some time. The same owner was still in place. I got some fish and some chicken. I also got a piece of chocolate cake. The meal was about as good as I could expect. I enjoyed the experience. I would recommend the place.

Most of the food here is okay, but there is random stuff like the “chicken sandwich”, which is a processed frozen chicken patty that they slap a kraft single on and charge way too much for. Shame on you.
I ordered the wing meal, however it was not wings it was chicken dummies and flats… very greasy the dummies had extra fat skin on them.. my husband ordered the whitening fish it was chewy and had some bones in it! I will not be going back! If I order wings I want six whole wings

Chicken was so oily as I was breaking it apart the oil was leaking out. I've been back and forth the spot for 2 years and somehow instead of getting better with time it seems that it's getting worser with time. I love the spot please do something less oil please chicken needs to be better used to be so good here I don't know what happened.
Just went over there and purchase some food and wanted to add extra for sauce. Would have rather me return 20$ of food instead of giving the customer a ramakin of sauce worth 75 cents. They also don't wear gloves while cooking and be scratching their nose while preparing food. Will never go over there anymore and they treat black customers different. They are more aggressive toward black customers than anyone else. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THRRE AND HOOE BLACK FOLKS IN THE AREA DONT GO THERE EITHER. WOULD RATHER DRIVE TO MORAINE LOCATION FOR BETTER SERVICE AND BETTER FOOD QUALITY.

Great catfish and Mac and cheese bites, rubber chicken strips and no tartar sauce for fish, no dipping sauce for chicken, no cole slaw. Only option was to come pick them up while my food gets cold. Won't be back to this location.
