Rene is the best
Typical neighborhood tavern with a great atmosphere and a subtle retro vibe. We stopped in when our usual lunch spot was closed and were pleasantly surprised.
Service was excellent—friendly barkeep, quick drinks, and attentive without being overbearing. The menu has all the classic bar favorites. I had the bacon cheddar burger (well done), and my partner had the Mort’s burger—both came out fast and exactly as ordered.

Good, reasonably priced drinks and food with even better service. It really does feel like a Cheers-esque neighborhood bar with how friendly everyone is. Everybody may not know our names, but our regular server knows our drink/food orders and that’s more than enough for me. You’ll be hard pressed to find better service elsewhere.
