There is no atmosphere you walk in they stand behind a window take your order tell you ,20 minutes. The food was not fresh. Rice was old been dried out for at least one day shrimp was tough but the egg roll was very good. Price if food would have been fresh it would have been reasonable. Won't go here again.

I eat at a lot of similar restaurants but New China is probably one of the best. Highly recommend.

Been ordering from New China for years. Moved away from East Dayton a few years ago. Tried some spots closer to me and they just aren’t the same. It’s always worth the extra drive to get my favorite Chinese. Love their eggrolls and chicken teriyaki skewers.

First time here (In Dayton, Ohio) and stumbled upon New China and I didn’t get greeted but placed and payed for my order the clerk never washed her hands after touching the register and proceeded to cook food. I was told 10 to 15 minutes and it was done in 7 to 8 minutes whatever but I don’t recommend this place to anyone egg rolls 1.75 and this egg roll looks like I’ve been bamboozled (skimpy) the lady is not clean at all and they suck at greeting there customers never going back I promise 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

Food is delicious and hot. The bubble tea is yummm and the chicken fried rice is hands down the best rice I've had from any Chinese place 🤤

I’ve been looking for a good Chinese place since moving here and this one was the worse by far. Pork fried rice was insanely salty, chicken coated in so much sauce I had to dig for the chicken, egg roll was greasy and soggy. Only plus was the food was done very quick.

We still go to this location even after moving 15 minutes away. Worth every penny and every minute of time.

The takeout was fast but the broccoli beef was not very tasty. You cannot eat in here. This is all new for takeout.

Update: 6/21 - recently the place has been on par being a place i eat often. I wish they had the big sprimp egg rolls . The changes in ingredients still is a bit of an issue being as they had the best tso chicken with peppers in the sauce. The crab Rangoon is sometimes under cooked and hard.

Not sure why there are any one-star reviews here at all. The food is very fresh, and the service is quick. This is my favorite family-owned spot in Dayton. Thank you for making such delicious food!

I wish I would've thought to take some pics of everything I'm about to attempt to describe, including the food lol. First , let me say the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the general tso's shrimp, which I've never seen at any other Chinese restaurant ever, and I loved it. What I didn't expect was walking into a "restaurant" that's been chaired off to hold some children(though I get it, you gotta do what you gotta do), piles of boxes by the door, filth everywhere. The place could use a serious cleaning, to the point that i questioned my decision of where to get food, after i walked in the front door. Thankfully, I gave it a shot and found the food excellent.

Vegetarian options: General Tsos shrimp is fire
