Omg! Subway has fallen! I wish I could report better news but Dayton Ohio subways have gotten worse by the day.
Yes, they’re advertisement game is on point. Yes they have a pretty brick and mortar but when I tell you talking to customer service and the food is almost like eating out of a vending machine it’s crazy.
Jersey city and New York corner store deli’s and bodegas make wayyyy better sandwich’s at a fraction of the price!
But Dayton hires without ever training for customer retention just bodies.
If Subway hired me as their customer service train and customer retention advisor they’d beat Jersey mikes easy with their own Jersey boy!

I ordered two sandwiches through the mobile app and they were the most flat sandwiches on the planet, and I literally put more for each veggie… I was wondering why my bag felt so late. I wish I would’ve checked it before I walked out.

Delicious sandwiches and great service. The wonderful workers had to deal with a rude customer right ahead of me and handled it very professionally and then maintained a good mood and treated me very well and made me feel welcome.

After standing in line for over 15 minutes, I walked out. At least one other person did too. This has got to be the worst Subway in Dayton region. AWFUL!!!!

Went in this afternoon around noon to pick up an online order, and for some reason they had a stack of them behind the counter that weren’t made. There was another customer who had just come from Chemotherapy who said the same thing I did as it seems that they either wait for people to show up to start making the food, defeating the entire purpose of ordering ahead, or they really don’t care about mobile orders and only care bout in store customers. Either way that is unacceptable. Two of the employees (male with blonde hair and young girl with red hair) were flirting and laughing as the 3rd employee (African American) did all of the work. Needless to say there’s a Jimmy John’s around the corner I’ll be going to instead from now on. Be better than this!

Ordered ahead and they didn’t start making the food until I got there this defeating the purpose of ordering ahead.
It’s always a gamble going here. This location is often out of most bread types. It’s not uncommon they don’t have certain cheeses or produce. Employees aren’t always friendliest either. I’ve had better luck at the Subway in the adjacent Walmart, but that location somehow manages to be even slower than this one.

If I could give this subway a negative 1 I absolutely would. The young lady that was working on 1/5/2025 host id number d13a5345-c32c-4f42--99b1-1c726a2dbf5a was unprofessional and rude I waited as she requested for the bread to cool then when I was placing my order raised her voice to me in agitation as I had repeated myself 3 times on the order but she did not understand and was trying to make all 3 at 1 time! when getting back to work with my colleagues the bread was so hard one of the nurses could not eat her lunch an threw it away. Mine was so hard it cut the roof of my mouth an please understand none of these was toasted. Then the topper of the experience after being so patient the girl over charged me an acted like it was my inconvenience that she made a mistake. She did refund the overage that was charged. But if you are wanting a good fresh sandwich with poliet service I would not recommend you ever go to this subway. They are much nicer at Walmart an their sandwichs are actually good. Also they are out of tomatoes 🍅

I came in with a bent Subway gift card that another Subway turned me away for because the magnetic strip had been damaged. The employees at this Subway called a higher up to solve the problem and see if there was any other way to solve the problem. They advised me that I could download the Subway app and type in my gift card number. Their service really went above and beyond! I'm so thankful. Definitely will be back.

The lady with husky voice seems uncertain about her work. She doesn’t start processing pickup orders until she finishes serving the line, which defeats the purpose of ordering online. She keeps insisting that she is being fair, but she really needs to learn what fairness truly means. Additionally, she stops other employees from preparing pickup orders, even when the orders are past their estimated time!!! Aside from her, everyone else who works there is wonderful.

The food was OK. I didn't like the dippers too much flatbread and bot enough of the good stuff for my liking. One sub guy was cool the other was uptight and came off as rude.

Placed an online order as I work for the hospital. Got their told the girl behind the counter I'm here to get said placed online order it wasn't even started. She was the only one working until 2 others finally appeared from thr back. They took 2 others orders before even making mine. Told them I need to get mine bc I have to go back to work. Pop machine is still down this has been going on for a while now. They had no diet soda and the 20 Oz they gave ne was hot. Bread was not fresh at all. The girl had no clue as to what she was doing. Will not be back to this location ever again

I went there for lunch today, and the gal said they were out of turkey, beef, and lettuce. “Truck comes at 2”.
She then picked up a piece of chicken with her bare hands and said “We have chicken.”
I left.

Aside from the bathroom being too gross to touch, there was no priority given to my mobile order. I entered the establishment immediately after ordering, and sat for 40 minutes as I watched people walk in and receive attention before mine. What is the point of ordering through the app if I still have to wait behind everyone who comes in after me?
