No tofu dishes on the menu- the only tofu is in the miso soup, which is , thankfully vegan- soy bean based broth. Went with vegetable roll , too.
I would list this restaurant as not vegan friendly, though the folks were very nice and friendly.

I wish they would open this up as it was before. You can sit and eat but it is completely takeout style. The rolls are smaller than expected for the price compared to other sushi places.
Yamato is hands down the BEST place to get sushi in Defiance. Their other dishes are equally as good as their sushi! I know when I order takeout from Yamato I’m going to get all of my food & it’s always made correctly.
