Went to get brunch and got the pastrami eggs Benedict. It was fairly busy but not wall to wall packed. The service was kind of slow and they didn’t really communicate well about the kitchen’s timeframe. I don’t mind waiting for food if there is at least something said. But the food was really pretty good once we received it.

Disappointing....overcooked salty grouper, overcooked dry Prime Rib. Cocktails took forever in a half empty restaurant.

The atmosphere is impeccable, the cocktails are amazing and the food is delicious. This is our favorite dinner spot in Delaware.Dietary restrictions: My need for dairy-free dishes was adequately catered to.

Rachel M was wonderful and everything we had for brunch was great. The shakshuka and corned beef hash were the favorites among our table. Honorable mention to the smash burger and fried steak!

You can't go wrong with the Beet Salad, Shrimp and Grits and the Bread Pudding! Great service, ambience and chef-inspired menu. If you're looking for some creative dishes, look no further!

Loved the service and food. Time from order to serving was good. Asparagus and Salmon cooked just right. The only complaint I have is the place is just a little too noisy. Maybe it was just the rowdy Friday night crowd??? More likely, I think it is the area had been made very open, with little or no efforts in sound deadening. It looks like when they designed it they intentionally removed walls and partitions that would have allowed conversations to be more private and ones voice better heard by table mates. The open concept might look better esthetically, but created a much louder dining area. They should install acoustical pads where possible to lower the noise levels.

Still sitting here. Food came out before our salads.. steak came out wrong twice and was sent back. Forgot our silverware. Never once offered to refill water.. we kept asking. Waiting almost 30 minutes for a free dessert for our friends birthday. Not sure what’s up here.. I just spent over $300 and waited forever to get our check back… now im sitting here without a pen! Lol! I’m not returning.

I always love coming here. We had to wait a while before our orders were taken but thats because they were a bit busy. Love that its kid friendly and still classy. Our waiter was very patient and knowledgeable about the menu which was good and helpful. Definitely going back!

Overall excellent restaurant. I wished the shrimp & grits was less salty...everyone at the table thought it was beyond salty. Beignets were odd and not really beignets...should have been called puff pastry bites. Really good bread, salad, entree and kids meal choices.

Noah was amazing as usual. We always enjoys the servers, but Noah is our favorite and the best by far! I would like to be able to get a double Manhattan, but they always give me 2 separate drinks.

First time in and we'll definitely be back . Tony's love of food shines through as he describes a few of the wonderful dishes available. I went with the Filet Medallions cooked to a perfect "happy medium " and let me not forget the most delicious gorgonzola potatoes. Great food , beautiful spot and close to home!

Fantastic, sophisticated food preparation and presentation! Recently relocated from SoCal, this is a true gem in Delaware county. Service by Noah was exceptional: friendly and attentive, yet not intrusive. Will definitely be back!

We visited 1808 for the first time yesterday. We had a few appetizers and the salmon, short ribs and their burger. All were delicious, well portioned and reasonably priced. The variety of entrees is large, so we'll be back to try some other entrees in the future.

This review is not intended to be a jerk. I’ve been to 1808 many times, and I’ve always had a very good meal. This one, though, not so much.I took a picture because this is close to how I ordered it, medium rare. The problem is that it’s not mine. Mine was medium well. I could live with that, but it was served to me at room temperature, maybe slightly warmer. Not good, and frankly, it didn’t taste that good either. So, hopefully, this was just a bad night. They can do better. They should do better.
