“Fun dive bar!

It's a dive, so keep that in mind. It's usually very college-ey as well. The space is small and narrow but it's a good spot for a late night drink! Also cool that they give you the cups you can walk around with outside.

I've never had bad service, it can just take a minute when they're busy. But... overall the bartenders usually get to me pretty quick.

I've never ran into a rude or bad crowd here so that's usually nice to know that the bar doesn't tend to attract a hostile population.

Not my most favorite place, as I usually tend to prefer a little more upscale or modern hipstery type bar... but given this is one of the few late night spots, I'll probs be back!”

The ambiance is great! Right when you walk in you get hit with the massive wine barrels and long bar top. I also enjoyed how the extra seating to the right is all kind of different, makes for an eclectic feel. All very warm & welcoming feeling. Great for a group or even just for a couples date night.

The service was very quick & friendly!

The flights are not a bad deal either! Prices are very fair. Food was good also! I believe we got a couple of their pizzas.

I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I would say it's a pretty safe bet that we will definitely be returning!”

“I honestly wish I could give more than just 5 stars on this review. 2 years ago I became allergic to sesame and that was one of the saddest days of my life… I haven’t been able to find a sushi or Japanese restaurant that was willing to accommodate to my allergy, but this place did. The woman who helped with my takeout order was sooooo nice and helpful. She also thought it was funny how excited I was to get sushi for the first time in 2 years! That woman alone gets a solid 7 out of 5 stars for her customer service and overall friendliness.Now let’s talk about the food… not only was the sushi made to order, but it was delicious! I got the buckeye roll, sunshine roll, and bake scallop roll. The buckeye roll wasn’t for my taste buds but was still good. “Stopped in here on our way home from the Columbus zoo. Pulled up to a building that looked like a “shack” and at that time we knew we made the right choice! The man at the front counter was more than friendly and personable! He walked us through what they offer and how (as this was our first time here). He treated us like family, took the orders and got to cooking! Highly recommend this SHACK!”

“Great brewery! We visited over Labor Day weekend 2024, Sunday. Somehow I lost my wallet around the bar area and didn’t notice until Monday morning. They were closed of course. Called, no answer. I knew that’s where I must have left it so we just ran out there, it was close. There was a guy cutting grass and that’s it. He was so very gracious and offered to call one of the owners. The owner drove there early in the morning on his day off and let us in. They did Indeed have my wallet that had fallen and came apart. He returned to me with everything in it, every dollar was still there. Great honest place!! I highly recommend!! Thank you so much ?”

“Food is your classic freezer to grill food. Footlong hot dog was nasty. Ice cream and coneys are delicious. Burger was good for what you needed. A little pricey, but if you want a nice variety of ice cream and sweet treat offerings with that small town ice cream store feel, this is the place. This is literally the place kids would be at after school to grab a quick ice cream before heading home!

“Have 4 months to came to gabbys, but, today is a different day. Long weeks ago, i ate "raviolis bolognesa" and today, had the pleasure to try the ribeye.

Not a lot places know how make the plate the same like the menu. You know? You read the menu, but when you saw the plate looks different. But here.. is totally like the menu more than the menu, actually.

The services was awesome, and the attention of the chef mario was amazing also.

“Finally tried the Chicken and Dumpling Soup tonight! And it was DELICIOUS!!”

“It was hot, so I drove to Dairy Depot for ice cream. I looked over the menu in the windows while the fellow ahead of me ordered. My choice was a crumbled oreo flurry, small size. I the cashier and stepped aside to wait. In just a few moments, a window opened with my Oreo Flurry. It was presented to me with a spoon and napkin.
The cold ice cream and the bits of oreo cookie were perfect! I will be back for more Dairy Depot treats. P.S. they also serve hot food.

“We’ve lived in the area for nearly three years, needed to find a Mexican restaurant closer than Cuco’s in Columbus. Overall this little place is pretty good. We loved the salsa, definitely homemade. Husband had a beef chimichanga, cleaned his plate. I tried chicken enchilada. Was okay, needed more sauce and it was just plain chicken in a flour tortilla. We will return but I will order something with a bit more “oomph.” (have to go back to Cuco’s now and again as they have the best fried fish tacos!)”

They define team work because of how they assisted the an associate in preparing our order. I enjoy Tim Hortons’ coffee and honey Cruellers. They had a nice piece of wall decor that was eye catching. When your bartenders act and treat your customers like they don't exist and don't acknowledge them, all your renovations and great food simply doesn't matter. The last 3 visits we made here, we waited for at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged, then walked out and went to Shortys. Every time this happens, we laugh at the bar with other patrons about the jug and how unfortunate it is. Shortys should thank you for sending them your customers to spend they're money there!”
