Overpriced is an understatement. I’ve been to many boutique style stores that are very pricey, but this place was absurd.. the prices were comical. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 simply because everything they had in there was absolutely beautiful and several employees were polite and said hello. However, the prices were quite literally laughable. $200 for a THROW PILLOW?? And no, there was nothing special about it. They were nice and good quality, don’t get me wrong, but they were still just throw pillows. I’d spend $50 MAX on them. $150 for a wine glass that’s the same quality as what I’d find at target (literally)?? You’ve gotta be kidding me. All of their plants were extremely overpriced as well. It was seriously the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen.

Stopped her on a whim when driving by the day before mother's day to get some hanging baskets. Not a single price marked on any of the hanging baskets. Other items did have the price clearly marked. When I asked about the price for the hanging baskets, I was told they were $60!!!! These guys must be out of their minds. Got to believe the price was intentionally left off, otherwise they aren't going to sell at that price. If you're going to have predatory mother's day pricing (or maybe the price is always this ridiculous?), at least have the courtesy to label the prices.

I'm a designer and I actually love this store but I can't bring my clients here where the customer service is lacking this bad. They never answer their phone. It is aggravating that a business of this caliber doesn't answer their phone calls. Get caller ID or block spam calls so you can serve your clients!

We purchased a tree last year that was full and beautiful. It has died since then and we’ve been trying for over a month to get it replaced. Bob instructed my husband to take pictures and wait two weeks. He has yet to return our calls or do anything about this dead tree. The desk ladies aren’t able to help with anything so it’s just been a waiting game on Bob. Go elsewhere if you want a tree.

What a HUGE disappointment. In early March, I made lunch reservations for 12 people for a date in April in their Cafe. A Proper Garden confirmed the reservation, discussed menu options with me and gave me a date for my final count. My luncheon invitations have all gone out and my gals have started to RSVP to me. HOWEVER, 10 days later, A Proper Garden called to say they were double booked on my date in April and were canceling my reservation. The other booking (which was for 20 people) had never been written in their reservation book by the business owner. I'm stunned! Beware - you, too could have your plans at the Cafe canceled abruptly. I will now book my event at some other another business who cares about Customer Service. It is regrettable that they had a breakdown in communication within their reservation process. Things happen. But, the business owner made no attempt to correct his mistake in a way that would make me feel like a valued customer. They won't ever have my business in the future.

Among the highlights were the scrumptious Four Cheese Quiche and the mouthwatering Harvest Quiche, which I had the pleasure of savoring. The Grilled Vegetable Flatbread and Risotto were equally impressive, showcasing their commitment to fresh and flavorful ingredients.To top off the culinary journey, their seasonal plated dessert, featuring a delightful of sorbet and cheesecake, was a heavenly finale. Usually I like this place but when I went tonight there was a dog that was present. For those of us afraid of dogs or allergic this does not make for a relaxing shopping experience and I can’t trust shopping there now since dog allergens might be on items. I also wouldn’t eat there because of this.
