We made a reservation and the reservation was honored on time. The host sat us promptly. For some in our party, it was our first visit. For others, they have eaten here many times over several decades. Our waitress came promptly and the drinks arrived quickly. We needed a couple of minutes before ordering food. The waitress came back close to 10 minutes later for our order. Inside of the restaurant there were a half dozen other tables with people. The outside had several tables of people. It was not busy overall. We then waited nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive. During this time the waitress ignored our table. Once the food finally arrived it was brought by a different employee. Our waitress promptly came to ask if we received everything. No apologies and no communication or updates during the 40 minute wait. The food was hot and good. No issues with that. When we wrapped up the service the waitress brought our checks after processing payments and did not offer any acknowledgment of how long it took nor did she thank us. She dropped the checks and left the table. While we would probably return, I would strongly encourage your wait staff to be trained in proper customer service, especially when there is a delay. Also, a thank you and good night at the end is the least she could do. She was not rude. She didn’t handle the service properly to ensure we had a good experience even if there was an issue in the kitchen.

Gave Buns another try after a less-than-stellar visit around 4-5 years ago. The new owners have really turned the place around. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. The family and I had a great time and we’ll be working that back into our restaurant rotation. Best of all - they no longer charge for soda re-fills! Well done, Buns.

I had the patty melt with kettle chips. My husband had the Buns burger with steak fries. Burgers were delicious & the chips were definitely from scratch. We both left with full belly’s & were happy 🩵🩷 Long Islands were also a hit!!

I love Buns, but I hadn’t been in a while. My dad and I came in today. We had two (short) beers each and one app (fried green tomatoes). After tip our bill was $59. I eat out pretty frequently and that just feels really steep. I could maybe understand if we had large beers? But i don’t think that’s even an option. Additionally we weren’t given a draft list so we couldn’t see pricing prior to ordering

Underwhelmed by the burger (got the one with beer cheese and jalapenos). The beer cheese had no flavor and the jalapenos lost their spice.
The banana pudding though? Amazing.

Absolutely the best!! Was greeted promptly. We chose to sit in bar area. Again, greeted promptly. Waiter was clear speaking! The bartender overheard I'm a diabetic. She immediately started searching her juice selections to see what the nest option was for Mimosa. The food was excellent! I was very impressed with the presentation (plating) of the food! Definitely will be trying lunch and dinner options!!

Was told they had just changed owners recently. Staff was excellent. The food was amazing an was told everything is made from scratch when I asked about the sausage gravy. A Lil pricey but really worth it we all said we'd definitely be going back.
