I came here with my bestie and had lunch. I've eaten here in the past and really liked it but everything seems to be so greasy and oily now. I ordered the egg foo young and it was just dripping with grease. The egg rolls were fried over and over and if you turn them on their side, grease just ran out on the plate. Pretty disgusting. I must say. There was lots of food but I would have rather had a smaller portion of great food than a huge portion of not so great food.

I have dined in many Chinese restaurants in just about every large city in the US and a few in Europe. My wife said that the last time she ate there, it was great (mind you, she had not eaten there in over 12 years) so we decided to have dinner there tonight (9/27/25). I can say, we were very disappointed. The lo mein was made using spaghetti, had no flavor, and lacked sauce (had to add soy, and plenty of it). The Kung Pao had way too many peanuts. The sauce was OK. The egg roll and spring roll left nothing to be desired (they were like the ones that you can buy in the frozen section of Kroger and cook at home). I have never seen orange fried rice but they have it there. The only thing that was halfway decent was the seaweed salad. We are moving on.

I went in expecting a typical Chinese restaurant, but I realized that their foods were made fresh! I got the Happy Family, and the dish came out hot and delicious.

This was pathetic rice was old and hard the chicken was not fresh seemed to be refried waist of money
The restaurant was nice and cozy. Lots of great options on the menu and they have a separate Asian special menu to try authentic Chinese food. The food always hit. I have been there over and over again and ordered something different each time and it's comes out great. They never disappoint. They have options for everyone. The service is great. Family owned and ran by only 2 people. Most hardworking people.
People are always complaining about the pricing, but in this economy, everything has gone up. They are just trying to make a living like the rest of us.

Me and my fiance just eat from this place and we both end up sick in the bathroom, I had the Mongolian beef and my fiance a simple tofu fried rice. Rice was hard and gross and alot of sauce in it. Sorry bt will not eat again from this place.
Definitely the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my entire life, the eggrolls were fried hard crispy the darkest eggrolls I have ever seen they taste like they have been fried three times, the crab rangoon also hard dry and burnt. The sweet and sour chicken was hard and crispy at the ends, but mushy in the middle just a complete waste of calories and money

Best authentic Cantonese 🍜 food in Delaware. Food was ready fast and my dish was fresh and light. Americanized 🇺🇲 Chinese food can be very greasy and found that this wasn't the case here. Any place that has egg foo young 🥚 on the menu is a sign of authenticity in my book. I'll be back for sure!! 😊
PS to all the haters in the comments- this isn't an American Chinese place. 🙄

Every single item tasted old and way past its expiration date. Throwing pretty much all it away. Have never, ever seen egg rolls that dark and burnt. It’s a shame because it used to be the premier Chinese in Delaware. I would not even feed this old and burned junk food to my dogs. Sorry Canton. We will not be back. Even the packaged hot mustard is so old it’s more brown than yellow. Sad, sad, sad.

This has to be the worst Chinese food I have ever had, the fried rice was fried to a crisp, black and tasted like charcoal. The General tsos chicken had no flavor and the egg rolls tasted awful. DO NOT eat here!!!!
I paid $19 for beef and broccoli and fried rice. The beef was tough and had no flavor and neither did the sauce. The fried rice had a weird aftertaste to it.
My friend and I stopped here at 1:51pm for a late lunch. This was on January 04/2025. It was the most horrendous, disgusting food we’ve ever been served. Here’s our story:
As we walked in, we noticed a sign that read, “no public restrooms”. I thought maybe that was posted for the carry-out order customers. After we ordered, I asked directions to their restroom. I was told it was in the back. I had to literally walk through their storeroom to find it. It’s a single, unisex bathroom. It made me feel very awkward being in a space that I shouldn’t be viewing.
Upon exiting back onto the dining room, you walk past their table that they use for themselves. It’s extremely cluttered and dirty. She had newspapers, a box of town house crackers, and other things piling up their booth.
I ordered Wor Shu Gai with steamed rice, and a cup of wonton soup.
My friend ordered Sesame Chicken with fried rice.
We both ordered Diet Coke fountain drinks.
Our drinks were so flat. There was zero carbonation.
Next, our eggrolls and my cup of soup arrived. The soup was the only thing that was “okay”. We did not eat our eggrolls and our drinks were flat.
Finally our entrees arrived. They were hideously gross!! My friends chicken was hard and old, and covered in a disgusting sauce. Her fried rice was dark, dark brown, oily and hard! I tasted a bite of each of hers.
My Wor Shu Gai had the worst, fishy-tasting, horrible sauce I’ve ever tasted! My chicken was old and tough, as well. My steamed rice was dry and overcooked.
This was the worst Chinese food either of us have ever been served!!!
We left our full plates at the table and proceeded to pay.
The owner took a long glance at our table as she walked to the register. She never uttered an apology. She didn’t say anything. Not one single word.
In hindsight, we should have only paid for my soup. I should have vehemently protested paying for the garbage that the rest of the lunch was!
I implore you all…..please do yourself a favor, and don’t go there. Go to Shanghai which is a few minutes away.
Terrible food.
