I am so thrilled to finally have an Indian restaurant nearby!! I have been twice so far for takeout and have loved it both times. The Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower appetizer) was to die for. I have also loved the dal makhani and matter paneer. And don’t skip the naan!!

Very nice place, food is authentic delicious & staff is very attentive & cordial. Clean facility with exceptional menu. Curry is every level including full heat, so order the yogurt sauce if you're not up for the sweat, haha.. I highly recommend this place.??

This was my first time eating at Desi Tadka. I did not dine in but I did carry out over the internet. The process itself was flawless and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back for more.

Food sucks. Got chicken saag. No flavor, big chunks of spinach and stringy. Not worth it just go to Doaba instead for Indian food it is much better. My family got other dishes as well like chicken tikka and others. No one liked

This is my favorite Indian restaurant that I have ever been to! The atmosphere is incredible and the food is even better! Now they even have a lunch buffet from 11:30-2:30 every day! It is perfect to try different entrees! The owner is amazing and makes sure that everyone has a wonderful time while at the restaurant! I go at least two to three times per week! I definitely recommend anytime you are in downtown Delaware!Vegetarian options: There are clearly labeled vegetarian sections for appetizers and entrees! Perfect for a vegetarian Indian food lover, like myself!Dietary restrictions: custom spice level, vegetarian, and vegan optionsParking: Street parkingKid-friendliness: The atmosphere and seating are perfect for a family dinner night outWheelchair accessibility: No stairs. It's a small modest restaurant. But the food is great and the staff are very friendly. They also now serve alcohol. I suggest a Mango Lassi with a shot of rum.

First visit and I loved it and learned from it. What could be better? I went with a friend who had been once before, but far from and an expert in Indian food. Both of us were feeling adventurous so we shared plates. I wish I could tell you the exact names of the dishes, but I cannot. I loved the cauliflower appetizer. And same with the lamb entree. I did discover that I’m not really a fan of paneer - but that’s on me. It’s a texture thing, but I did like how it was prepared. I’m assuming she was one of the owners, but whoever she was (not our actual server) helped us with our order and answered all our questions. When I’m in a restaurant with a cuisine that is unfamiliar I do prefer a picture menu. But this text only, point and hope method of ordering worked out pretty well for us!Dietary restrictions: I was able to discuss my food allergies and be assured that I was ordering safe selections.

We've been desperate for an Indian restaurant to open up in Delaware and Desi Tadka is so good! Everyone has always been so kind and we're so happy they're here!

Desi Tadka just opened up a couple months back. As of now, they are the only Indian restaurant serving the Downtown Delaware area. The space is intimate and have a mix of table and bar seating. Their menu cover a wide range of traditional Indian dish with a specialty of North Indian cuisine. Flavorful meal with excellent services. Aloo Gohbi | This is a dry curry dish that I love. Cauliflower and potato cooked in curry based spices and herbs. The flavor is rich and on point. And next time I may try the medium heat from mild. Chicken Biriyani | The marinated chicken is super tender. Layered with a bed of basmati rice and spices. My favorite part would be it topped with fried onion.

Incredible food with multiple spice levels. But what really sets this place apart is the staff. They are extremely friendly and prompt, even when they were busy. Glad to have this restaurant in town.
