We were looking forward to coming for breakfast after reading good reviews. We were seated quickly. We asked for water before ordering our food. Do not drink the water it taste like chemicals. My husband ordered the Mexi-omelet. It had no pizzazz. Very bland. I had the eggs Benny and Im still regretting that decision. It is one of my all time favorite dishes. What I received was similar in looks only. The hollandaise sauce had to be from a can or package. The ham or mystery meat could not be cut with a knife and that's crazy because it was paper thin. I did order a glass of milk, which I had to ask for half way through my breakfast because our server forgot to bring it with our food then dissappeared for a while. The milk was good.

This place is a gem in Delaware. Everyone working here is kind with a smile on their face. We went for brunch on a busy Sunday and were able to be sat right away! The food came hot and our server Marianna was lovely. I’d absolutely recommend coming here with your whole family.

I've been here a few times since opening and have noticed Courtney talking down to other servers or about servers in front of customers. Being a server myself I understand the stress that comes with restaurants, but it shows a lack of control when disrespecting your co-workers happens every time I come in. I would not be comfortable working with someone like that and I felt for the girls taking the brunt of the attitude it made my husband and I uncomfortable.
I will most likely avoid her being my server from what I've seen

I wasn't sure what to expect when my husband mentioned having breakfast at a diner. As a vegan, eating at non-vegan restaurants, usually results in very plain salads. I had a delicious vegetable hash with Just Egg and vegan cheddar. My husband had biscuits and gravy and was very happy as well. Both the staff and other customers were friendly which was a plus. A comfortable and welcoming vibe that feels like you've been there before, even when you haven't. Can't wait to go back!

This is such a great place to eat. They have vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. If you're looking for breakfast or lunch, this little diner on SR23 is definitely a must.!

I was way too excited to try this place, pretty disappointed. Not for any “really” terrible reason, but there’s way better options in town, so sadly we won’t be coming back. We came here 2 times in about 60 days recently, decided to give them another try and it was the same. The woman who greeted us both times was rude and cold, our server was fine (same 2 people both experiences). The food was fine, not at all fantastic. Portion sizes were small and prices were high. We had to go eat after we left both times because $15 a person still didn’t feed us enough. The atmosphere of the “old diner” feel is worth going once just for the experience, but we should have went to Hamburger Inn or Corner Cafe the second time. We tried.

Such a cool place! We ate here for the first time this weekend as we were celebrating our anniversary. The food was delicious and the ambiance is great! Highly recommend!

Food is AMAZING. I have never had a bad meal here. Have don’t carry out and dine in. Their grilled cinnamon roll is unreal.
