The grilled cheese and tomato soup were hands down one of the best I have had! What a quaint little diner. So glad my friend and I decided to stop in! I would stop in again in a heart beat!

Walked in- waited, no greeting, just staff looking our way then turning around. Finally we got “4th booth down”. We seated then waited and waited. Finally left. Went to Corner Cafe. Great service and exceptional food.Never going back to

Really lived up to everything we've heard and read online! Top-notch service, and great food. Reasonable price! Just be sure to take the northernmost driveway or you'll find yourself meandering through other businesses' parking

I was in again this week. I eat breakfast in great places all over the United States. But, this one--right here in our Delaware, Ohio--is the best breakfast you can find in America. I think so, anyway. I love the food, the location, and the people at Eclectic Diner!

Very cozy vintage feel. Very clean. Coffee was great! We spent $31 for 2 breakfasts. Eggs were folded, not scrambled as ordered. Over easy still had some raw whites, sausage Patty's were great! Bacon shattered when a bite was taken. Breakfast potatoes were ordered and came whole! Several per plate. They had been boiled in maybe chicken broth? Not sure but were alot and not what we had ever seen before on a breakfast menu. We were expecting hash browns or home fries. The server never gave us a list of potato options. Now the sausage gravy, a definite NO! Thin and had sausage yes but the gravy tasted like it was made from beef bullion or base. Did not taste like sausage gravy at all. The biscuits were very good, made fresh. We had heard so many great things about this place so were very excited to finally go. Now it's a regret sadly. We ate what we could to not be wasteful or hungry but we each left potatoes for them. If we wanted 3LBs of potatoes we would have went to the grocery. It was just the strangest thing we had seen smh. The plates are plastic and slide all over so we had to hold the plate with one hand to be able to cut our food with the other. Will not return.

Saturday 2/3//24 11:00am.“How’s the food”, you ask??? My daughter and I never got to try it, which, now that I think about it, am glad they didn’t get my $$. The whole experience was just absolutely bizarre. It felt like we were treated as just a huge inconvenience for being there, which is unfortunately a common theme post Covid! After waiting in our car for 20 minutes, we waited another 10 in the lobby before we were told that we could’ve just sat at the counter to begin with! Really?!! (30 mins wasted) We were finally “allowed” to order. As I sat there I started to question my decision to try something local and off the beaten path. I overhear a young 20ish couple cash out and their bill was $61!!! $61 I say to myself!! For two people! For breakfast?!! What did they get, filet and golden eggs!? After waiting additional 40 minutes our server shuffles over to my daughter and I and starts apologizing profusely that she forgot to submit/hit enter on our order. You can imagine the looks on our faces. We were offered free baked goods as consolation , which we declined. If you read through the reviews of this place you will see that other orders have mysteriously disappeared or were not submitted? Why? If you bravely attempt to try this place, BEWARE! You just may win the lost order ticket lottery! After my initial frustration, I realized she actually did us a favor. Thanks McDonalds Delaware, you saved the day with your speedy and kind service!
