Vaquero is hands-down the best Mexican spot in Delaware! The food is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. Great atmosphere, great prices. A must-visit if you're in the area! 🌮🇲🇽

El Vaquero is a consistent restaurant to go to. My meal on this day was good but not great. The steak for my fajitatas had more than a bit of gristle in it. Other than that, it had good flavor and I didn't have a plate full of onions and peppers with just a bit of meat. There was plenty of meat for the fajitas.

Not from the area, and with that, I did not have high expectations when I found this place. This restaurant definitely exciting all expectations. The food was absolutely exceptional, and I will definitely recommend it. In my travels to and from visiting my family in Columbus, El Vaquero will absolutely be a stopping point.

As always the food was fresh, hot, fast and delicious. Our server kept the drinks full and took greta care of us. This is one of our favorite local restaurants hands down.

We had a party of 17. Everyone who got the Quesabirria tacos ended up with food poisoning/norovirus. Not sure if someone in the kitchen was sick or if the tacos were just bad in general. Very disappointed. Otherwise everything else like the queso fundido was yummy.

$58 for 2 chicken fajitas and a cheese dip. Wasnt given salsa when we sat down, our fajitas came out without tortillas and we had to ask for them. $22 fajitas is LOCO.

Great food staff and atmosphere

Not good at all the service is bad they sat us down and got us chips before drinks had to wait 4 mins for a drink. Not only that but also got fried ice cream I requested for after the dinner and when they sat down our half cooked chicken fajitas and veggies and our fried ice cream at the same time when we requested to have it after dinner. And she asked my family if we wanted her to put it in the freezer again then take it out later and deep fry it again!! After being in the freezer again!! At a party at that... BETH DONT DO THAT AGAIN!! ... and the guy waitress moved after seating us and didn't get us water but the people behind us.

The service here was awful, I went with my brother and his fiancée, and we ordered cokes, and a sprite and the waiter gave us our cokes and the sprite but forgot straws, and we waited around 15-25 minutes for him to come back around and then we asked him for straws, and he then threw the straws our straws at our table, We ordered a two burrito deluxe instead he got one chicken one beef and orders both beef. My brother said he didn’t order one chicken, and one beef, and the waiter made it seem like a big deal to correct the order. Then the two beef burritos they bring him are burnt.

Been going here for months, and my brother couldn’t even eat his burrito because it was so burnt, and they didn’t even offer a refund nor anything off, and this is the last time I’ll be dining there.!!

Very poor customer service in a service that requires it.
