Drove an hour to visit a local tattoo shop, walking out the smell of the food drew us to try Joy’s… DEST DECISION EVER! The food was exactly what I look for in Chinese food! It’s hard to find a place around that reminds me of what I ate when I was younger. Needless to say, I looked at my husband 3 bites in and told him any time he wants Chinese food, we can drive the hour there. 10/10 on both food and service. For months I have b en asking local friends, colleagues and clients to eat at Joy’s Village - and everyone refused. All have horror stories that sound more like urban legends than the truth. So on a day. Needed to run a few quick errands in Delaware I dropped in solo. My go to for testing a new-to-me Asian Restaurant is General Tso’s chicken. Orange 0. Worst food I have chewed on in 5 years. I literally spit it out. Must have been some sort of mistake. I went back for a tongue tap and it tastes like chemicals. Going to stick to Panda as that is my favorite dish.
