I like Kroger but do not go here regularly for my groceries because they don’t have enough people manned checkouts. Too much reliance on self. If I have to self checkout I should get a discount since I am working.

At Kroger in Delaware.. There’s an elderly gentleman looking for cottage cheese and he asks a worker who’s busy. The young man tells him where it’s located. The elderly man says “I looked, it’s not there”. The young man says “I’ll get it for you” with a genuine smile on his face! The young man’s name is Alvin and he’s just one of the ways I’ve seen God this evening. Serving someone with kindness and goodness! We need more Alvins in the world! I hope his parents sees this! They should be proud of their young man!

A highlight I would like to share is the store has decided to quit cutting the delicious Italian bread they make into sliced bread. after 50+ years of buying sliced Italian bread from Kroger's I will need to visit one of their competitors to get thinly sliced Italian bread. it does not makes sense. someone please tell me the young clerk was lying to my wife, please.

The staff here are always friendly and available. I have 2 other grocery chains on my way home I could stop at but prefer the staff and quality produce here. They also do a lot for a charity that's near and dear to my heart (Humane Society of Delaware County). I believe people who care for animals are good people. Thank you!

Bad attitude from employees, baggers don't know how to do good job. Over priced food. Empty shelves .

I arrived during my pickup time window and was told my order was not ready. Multiple items were substituted, or not available, at this store on multiple occasions. Some substitutions were charged at a more expensive price vs the original item's price.

I went in with my 8 month old son and had three team members help me unload my cart and bag groceries so I could get in and out with him! I usually do click list if I have him just because it is easier to do but I missed the cut off for today. Thank you to the three ladies that helped us out it truly means a lot!!
