Old Dog Alehouse & Brewery

This place could be a very good place to eat when you walk into the restaurant. It's set up. Very nice but the service was so slow. The waitresses didn't even want to come over and help anybody with their food or order. My husband and I ordered our food. Finally, it took about almost 30 minutes to get the food. My husband ordered the pulled pork. There was no meat. Well hardly any meat. It was filled with vegetables. I ordered the chicken with the peanut sauce. It was the worst meal I have ever tried. I couldn't eat. The rice was so bad. The vegetables were way too spicy and the peanut sauce that they poured on top of it ruined the whole thing. It tasted like they put ground coffee in with the peanuts sauce. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was so so bad. My waitress took off and didn't even see her. After I told her about the meal being icky I had to get another person to come and take our receipt. Finally, nobody came to get our credit card for the meal so we paid with cash and left. It's sad because it could be a very, very good place. Change your menu and get new waitresses very very disappointed. I wish I could give it a no star because I would definitely do that

Absolutely wonderful brewery, very attentive staff, wonderful selection! Very beautifully decorated and incredible food, their burgers are AMAZING! The wife and I love to come here for date nights and not once have we ever had a bad experience, I’d definitely recommend to my friends! You can also bring your furry friend and sit on the patio, which is such a nice change.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Great little restaurant/tavern in the middle of downtown Delaware. Was out looking for a place to sit with the dogs outside, and even though there was no one else on their patio at 1:30pm on a chilly Tuesday, they were still
more than happen to accommodate us.

Menu is short and concise, with semi-elevated bar food, and still good tavern classics. Pimento dip was awesome. Giant pretzel came with one of the best kinds of beer cheese. Portions were awesome and prices were extremely reasonable. I’m also not a big fan of most tiny breweries, but all of the beer I tried from them must’ve been catered just to me because I loved both of them lol.

The food isn’t anything over the top crazy, but everything about this place is really solid, so definitely 5 stars cause I can’t think of any reason not to keep going back.

Not a bad place to eat. Lots of selections for beer. I had the Rise and Shine Brew (not bad) but Stifler's Mom (😂) was really good. I recommend them both. The food was really tasty. Definitely will be going back.

Jess from the wait staff was outstanding. Food is great - good portions, tasty, timely. Service is excellent. Shrimp tacos fill you up - not popcorn size shrimp.

Had the opportunity to finally stop in and have dinner at Old Dog Alehouse and this place was awesome. Food was great, served quickly yet cooked perfect and the service was top notch. Service is so important when running a restaurant and not only was our server amazing, but several other staff and on duty manager had stopped by our table to greet us and see if we needed anything. Im very picky about food and everything our whole table had ordered was top notch, hot and looked and tasted perfect. The beer selection was great along with the fun cozy atmosphere. Honetly couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Definately highly recommend. Great job Old Dog Alehouse. Will be back this weekend again!

Always have a good experience EXCEPT for the most recent trip. Ordered the shrimp and lobster pasta and everything was just floating in oil, it was disgusting. Wife always gets the fish and chips which is usually fantastic and the breading was soggy and greasy like it had been sitting. Prob won’t be back for a while
