We absolutely love coming in! Liquor selection is off of charts! Two floors and wall to wall liquor ranging from the mundane to the exotic! We've had just about everything on the menu and love it all! Genti Thank you for having such an amazing place like Opa's in Delaware!
Last night I wrote a negative review based on one of many visits to Opa and vowed not to return. My friend, a very respectful Veteran who made no demands and who was not in a rush, was treated with disrespect by a single member of the staff behind the bar. I intervened and asked the bartender why he was giving my buddy attitude and acting put out. Genti, the owner, happened to be walking by and I pointed out what I thought to be deplorable service. Food is very good. Service was not. Went on a Wednesday at noon. Not busy at all. Ordered Diet Coke. Unable to get a refill because they were “out of it”. Seriously?
Ordered fried green tomatoes. Again, “out of it”. Asked for the Tiramisu. Again”out of it”.
Ordered a dessert to share. Did not bring silverware. And lastly, I cleared the table myself because no room for dessert. Disappointed as this was a birthday lunch for my husband.
