Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Had a bad experience on 5/18/2025 where we used the Tropical Smoothie online order/delivery option (directly on their website). The correct order was not delivered. When we called to try to resolve the issue we were told only the manager could handle the dispute and that they were not in to deal with the issue, and promised to get a call back. We called back 30 minutes later as we had not heard anything yet and still waiting on food at work, same story. Never heard back and charge is still on my credit. Will have to contact them to get it resolve I guess.

Went to my local tropical smoothie on Friday… had a below average experience. My smoothie was alright, it needed to be blended (more it had little chunks of ice in it). The other thing that bothered me was that the young lady (I think named Leytica) who made my smoothie had a weed vape sticking out of her back pocket. Beyond that it was alright, but probably won’t go back.

There was a girl named Leticia working and she sat on her phone and didn’t help me so someone else had to and then she kept making dirty faces at me and i think that’s very disrespectful

I have always loved the smoothies, today I got a salad and my daughter had a sandwich. They were amazing! The girl at the window was very pleasant and our order was ready in no time. This is one of my go to places. Always clean inside, and friendly staff. I love this place!!!

Usually love going to this tropical smoothie cafe as I have never had any issues before. Today I went to get my usual and a man named Vincent took my order, both me and my friend felt extremely rushed and when we asked to split our orders because I had made the mistake of not saying so prior, this man rolled his eyes, sighed, then said yes. This interaction made me-the customer-feel bad for asking for my order to be split. It then took almost 8 minutes before my 2 açaí bowls came out and of course the girl working was also rude when handing me my food. Very disappointed.

Got the strawberry banana and pineapple smoothie. Delicious!!! Definitely worth stopping in and checking out, they have more than just smoothies. Healthy food choice!

Always closes early and literally try to call ahead to check and they never answer the phone. They always offer a free smoothie card. But how can I ever redeem if you ALWAYS close before 9pm. Change the time on the door or get employees that want to actually work the posted times. The excuse: nobody came the last hour so I decided to close down early. Yea not happy at all with this business. Like I said - not the first time this has happened!

The gentleman that took my order was very nice. This was my first time trying this location. My food didn't take long, however , while I was waiting. There was a young lady with blonde hair that came into her shift, sat on the drive-through window and put her feet up on the serving area, and got on her phone. While I understand being on your phone occasionally. Especially when you first get to work to make sure everything is good before you start your shift. I, however, do not condone putting your dirty shoes up on anything customers' food comes into contact with. You just walked through a dirty parking lot and into the building with those shoes! They should not be on ANY surface. In a restaurant. Especially if you work there. IN FULL VIEW OF CUSTOMERS And food is prepared there.

I tried the achi bowl. It was AMAZING the fruit was a fresh, perfect blend.

Always ordered from the drive thru, but the young people who work here are very friendly and quick as possible with preparing the smoothies and food. I’ve never had my order wrong, they scan my app and let me pay a different way. The food is prepared correctly and the substitutions are always right.

Parking: Shared parking lot with neighboring businesses, but always a spot available nearby.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly food and drinks.

Wheelchair accessibility: Walkable from the parking lot and handicapped sections.

Tried to order via the drive thru and someone said they would be with us. Waited for longer than 6 minutes and no answer. Asked if anyone was there, nothing. No response. What horrible customer service. If it's busy, we understand. We waited and despite that, no response. Unacceptable.

My favorite place to get a smoothie and the food is great as well. They have sugar substitutes you can get Splenda instead of sugar (that's a deal breaker for me) order a Bahama Mama with dark chocolate and thank me later 😊

People here are always nice and service is prompt. My only complaint is about their app. Location services in their app will change the store before you checkout. So you show up and your food isn’t there it’s at another location. This has happened to me twice. The franchisees are different owners so they won’t help you when this occurs. Their corporate office absolutely does not care, blames the customer. So my advice is to avoid their app. Just wait and order in the store or use DoorDash. Really too bad for this flaw otherwise the app would be fine.
