Stopped here on the way from Indy to Ann Arbor! It's a must stop. So many options and the food was great. Service was even better. With it was closer, I'd be a regular.

Hit or miss on food. Sometimes it's very tasty and sometimes they are obviously trying to get rid of leftovers. And please don't let the chef (that one that looks unshowered) walk around and stare from the server station. Great look and feel inside and out. Service was very tip-worthy I would look to change the menu more and reduce dish count. When does a new menu become old? I'd say 1 year for a location like Delta. or you will slowly become The Gathering (Place).

My husband and I were seated on the bar side instead of the regular dining room side. There was all but one table empty . My husband and I don't drink alcohol. We ordered onion rings which came out greased soaked and batter was so thick it wasn't even cooked through. We couldn't eat them. I ordered chicken bacon ranch wrap and tator tots. Tator tots were greasy also. There was only a few pieces of imitation bacon bits, very small amount of chopped up chicken, no tomatoes, lots of lettuce and lots of ranch dressing. I only ate half the wrap and only one tot. My husband ordered the stooge burger and fries. Fries were greasy which he couldn't eat. He had to take the onion ring off because it wasn't cooked through and greasy. He only ate half his burger and a couple of fries. We won't go back.

The garlic mashed potatoes are life-changing. Seriously. After trying my husband's the first time we went there, I regretted not getting them. I made sure to get them this time.The pretzel and cheese curds are good. The sandwich with shaved ham was okay. Their Philly could use more meat.Waitresses have been absolutely pleasant both times we've been.

Service was sub par , actively saw two waitresses sneak a tape hit while walking back to kitchen. We ordered 3 omlettes and a senior breakfast. Multiple tables that that were of the same size or larger got served before we did even though they order much later than us. Also saw the manager/ owner berate the waitress near the restrooms for her placement of whipped cream. Over all a very poor experience.

I ALWAYS enjoy eating here. ? delicious food no matter what I order! I always feel comfortable coming here unlike other small town restaurants I've been to where I feel like a total outsider and am treated like I'm intruding. I live near 1 that's only about a mile away that's like that as well as 1 that is right down the road from 109. I will gladly drive the nearly 20 minutes to visit 109 diner when I could go less than 5 to the diner near me. That's how important it is to feel welcomed at a restaurant!Parking: They do have parking behind the restaurant but I prefer entering from the front of the restaurant even though it means parking on the street.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu available and they have plenty of options.

We just had the Thanksgiving Buffet and had to write a review on how delicious everything was! Everything tasted like it was homemade. Our waitress was just wonderful and super prompt to refill or clear plates and the serving staff on the buffet line were equally wonderful. Thank you so incredibly much for providing such a great meal for us!
