Choripan Argentine Grill

Have been wanting to try and ordered a 6 pack of empanadas ahead. Tried carne, pollo, mushroom, bacon egg and cheese. Very greasy and not a flaky crust whatsoever. Was honestly grossed out by it. We won’t be back.

I saw the head chef lift a burning car off a child, an amazing man. Feeds the hungry. Kind to everybody. The back two kitchen workers are great folks and quite the comedians. I heard two of workers are in a band together. I used to hear the head chef, Joel, play their music a few years back whenever I was in there. Now its great Argentinean music and local art on the walls to make great atmosphere.

Great for folks who have strict dietary restrictions.

Get the Cordero (lamb) or the venison empanada. The banana split chocolate chip ice cream is top notch.

Food was just okay. They overcrowded the fryer and stuff wasn't crispy, a bit soggy. Flavor wasn't bad but poor texture.

In love with this place! Their empanadas are amazing we took extra to bring back home to Toledo to freeze for later:) So much love in their food and it’s refreshing to know it’s made with clean ingredients. Also, it’s so nice to be able to eat anything because I have celiac…definitely a mandatory pit stop when in Columbus 😊 *i recommend the pato, Cordero, and carne asada! (They had the venison off the menu while we were there it was delicious). Great vibe and music 🖤

This place is so good!! We went there earlier this year and the empanadas were great but we also just picked up a gluten free pizza and it’s probably the best GF pizza I’ve had! It’s dedicated GF too for those fellow celiacs.

The food is absolutely phenomenal! I have celiac and have been safe every time I've eaten here. The best part, it doesn't taste like so much of the stale, lifeless gluten free stuff. It's truly fantastic! Every time!

We got the choripan and a few of the empanadas; all were tasty but the duck was by far and away the star of the show - haven't stopped thinking about it since! The duck empanada is UNREAL - an insanely delicious and unexpected combination of flavors. A little pricey for the portions ($7 per empanada) but you can taste the high quality of ingredients. Recommend for lunch or takeout as the dining area is a little small. Really appreciate the allergy accommodations, as it's hard to find nut and seed oil free spots these days!

First, the positive: the milanesa napolitana was very good. The yucca fries were OK - they were dry and the seasoning was overpowering. The empanadas were the most disappointing, however - they were dripping with oil, the dough was undercooked and very chewy, and there was lots of empty space and little filling within the empanada - much too little for a $7 empanada. The lemonade seemed to have no sugar and was very sour. Prices seemed much too high for what you get. It was nice to try once, but I would not go back. I really wanted to like it, but I have to be honest.

Came here with my MIL and BIL, and was extremely happy with the food. The chorizos were so juicy and tasty, at first I questioned the price point but I left very full, and that is saying something. Well worth the money for quality food made from scratch.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Taste - excellent. This meal felt nourishing. How he prepares food and what he uses to cook with would be more in line with how my ancestors would do food. I am thrilled to find a place with great food that cares about quality and clean ingredients. This is the first place I know of that makes food this way. What other place do you know of that is transparent about cooking oils and ingredients? Our meals were so good. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Dublin, OH.
