When we first started going to The Rail it was locally owned and locally sourced. It was so cool to try all the different burgers and the choose your own was epic. So many choices and you could have a different burger everytime. It was also affordable and you always knew your food was coming from local sources. We went back to "Rail" now owned by the Caribou Coffee brand is wow is it different. They were not the cool burger spot we fell in love with. They are a conglomerate...read full review
My family and I, live close to two hours away from the Columbus area. We were in town for a Columbus Zoo outing when we stopped here to eat for the first time. Upon sitting down, we noticed how beautiful and charming the inside interior or design of the place was. Secondly, when we received our food, everything tasted fantastic! The food is delicious, atmosphere is great, and the drinks are delicious! Virginia is the best bartender there is! Highly recommend the Flatbread pizza, the shrimp appetitzer and the Buffalo chicken dip is amazing 👏

Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar offers a mix of experiences, but many guests highlight its standout dishes and friendly service. The restaurant is known for its exceptional burgers, with one reviewer calling the Rail-Avore the best burger they've ever had—impressive enough to make them a repeat customer. The burgers are complemented by top-notch fries, and the milkshakes are considered a hidden gem. Guests also enjoy other meal options, such as Smashburgers with sautéed onions and grilled buns, and appreciate the flavorful salads and pimento dip during restaurant week. Desserts like brownie sundaes and raspberry white chocolate bread pudding are also well-loved, especially the brownie.
Service varies but is generally friendly; staff are praised for their attentiveness, with one server going above and beyond to replace spilled fries. However, some reviews mention inconsistent food quality, noting that appetizers might be burnt or dishes undercooked at times. The atmosphere is described as casual, but the seating arrangement—next to the pass requiring waitstaff to pass by—may not appeal to everyone. Overall, Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar is appreciated for its delicious burgers, tasty fries, and friendly service, making it a recommended spot for those seeking a satisfying meal in a relaxed setting.
