“Everything we tried was delicious and tasted fresh, the fiery feta fries, chicken shawarma over rice with garlic sauce, and hummus were amazing, the pita soft and fresh, everyone is super Friendly and the service is fast definitely my new favorite spot for gyros and shawarma.“
“Visited for the 1st time today. The appetizers were excellent and the moussaka was out of this world. Our bartender, Julia, was amazing and every cocktail was extremely well made. The espresso martini in particular. I will definitely be back!“
“The food here is fantastic! It's homemade and served quickly. We've tried appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and everything is delicious. While my favorite is the grape leaves, you can't go wrong with a gyro or a piece of baklava. This family-owned restaurant is definitely a favorite spot!“
“2 blocks away... I live near high street but was 2 late for the rock stars I'm used ta... boom frigging had no idea! The bacon!!! In mah moufff.... (cheese all over my table) I'll be back sir... ohhhhhh yes. - TRANSLATION - it's very good pizza.Parking: OFF of Indianola... So slow down as you approach, so you can scope the parking. We just parked out front, but it was 2 in the morning (yes they are open that late!)“
“EXCELLENT lamb gyro AND side dishes! I'm 100% hooked and will gladly spend my money here! One of the two brothers who own/run their food stall was great to chat with while the other brother was dominating the stove. By the way, hot off the grill was no joke - my food was delicious and very flavorful because it was cooked to order. For a time, back when they opened, this stall use to serve tagine plates on the weekend (only), but that has since been removed - sad face. I was delighted that ToG's side dishes we tried were just as much stars of the show as their lamb gyros! Their Brussels side was very lightly seasoned, the sprouts were sauteed with a flavorful oil, and I've never seen sprouts sauteed with sliced green grapes! I patently hate sprout dishes that tout all kinds of toppings that brutally mask the flavor of the healthy veggie tag; this side dish is officially the best sprouts dish I've ever had. I got the side dish to share with my mother, but ended up getting a serving of my own, since I was hooked. Same high marks for their Zaalouk side, too. The flavors were incredible: not too much of anything, just plain flavorful! The accompanying pita triangles were an afterthought, as that eggplant/stewed tomatoes/garlic/cilatro getup deserved its own spotlight. On my gyro, I forgot to ask for lite sauce, but it wasn't bad at all; I could easily taste the components wrapped in the fresh, soft pita bread. The meat was so good, and plenty shavings to fill the pita, too. I easily got my money's worth of shaved protein. Since opening The East Market has been a mixed bag of food stall offerings, so I'm really glad I finally tried ToG. I'm sure I'll be back by next time I'm in the area. Shoot, I'd go out of my way for those two side dishes any day.“
“Absolutely LOVED the garlic feta fries, the falafel plate, the 3-dips appetizer, the gyro sandwich and shawarma plate... We tried nearly half of the menu! ?Not only was the food awesome, but the staff were super friendly, with good senses of humor, and helpful with our chaos ordering (we wanted EVERYTHING!).I wanted to lick my plate once the food was gone, and raved about how glad we ate there for the one meal in Columbus while traveling. 10/10 recommend, and hope to venture through Ohio again someday just to eat here again!Vegetarian options: The dips (the cream ones would obviously only be vegetarian, not vegan) were AMAZING, in Guy Fieri speak, I'd eat 'em on a flip flop! Olives and feta were good too,but the garlic fries and falafel plate were seriously AWESOME, and a great serving size too! Some of the best food I've ever had, vegetarian or not!“
“Eating here is like going to your grandma's house, but if your grandma was a "crazzy" Greek dude. Do whatever he recommends; if he tells you to get the fries you better do it. If he wants to make you a margarita then sit back and enjoy the marg with your kabob. Expect super friendly service and huge portion sizes. This place is a gem!“
“I was excited to try Agape, and it did not disappoint. The falafel bowl is outstanding. The house sauce is absolutely delicious. The pita is fluffy and flavorful. And the baklava...ooooh, the baklava is *chef's kiss*. Honestly, everything I've eaten has been wonderful. I love Medditerranean food, and this place has some of the best in Columbus. As for the location, it is so clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless. The staff is friendly and you can tell that the management treats them well. I love supporting an establishment where the staff is appreciated and is happy to be working there. They are enthusiastic and love recommending options for whatever your tastes may be.Best of all, you can sample before you decide! Don't know what Baba ghanoush is? Well, try it and you'll see what you've been missing! (I've had it with some hummus and pita bread for lunch, and it was delicious and satisfying)I've been telling nearly everyone I know about Agape. More people need to know about this gem of a local chain restaurant. I will definitely be back and often!“
“Although I didn't try a lot of dishes from the menu, I particularly loved the delicious Greek Fries, which I ordered several times over four days. The portions of crispy fries loaded with feta cheese, onions, and tomatoes and sauce were quite generous and had to be shared. The lady who took our orders was very friendly and chatty. Highly recommend this place, tucked away inside the Columbus Convention Center.“
“Greek food is some of my favorite, which makes me critical of how it’s made. My deep belly cravings led me on a search here to Panini Opa, which is a rather simple name for a restaurant, but a name I haven’t forgotten: I’ve already been here twice and I’m thoroughly impressed twice over. Their menu is very large and quite varied. Try their Souvlaki Gyro and thank me later. Try their variations of wings and thank me again. You won’t run out of choices so quickly. The parking lot is a little small and tight to park in, but I never let that stop me from happy plate time.“
“Ate here twice in the past 2 days. Gyro hit the spot for dinner last night, had to go back again for lunch today. Carryout is super fast, friendly service & quite the tasty meal. I love the crunchy bits of gyro meat too. Will definitely be back!“
“For 15 years, we’ve lived near Anna’s, driven by it thousands of times, and never stopped in, until today! Hey! What a great experience from a warm greeting from Christina, our server, who took the time to explain the menu in detail, to the final bite of dessert (after being shown a tray of choices [who does that any more?]), we were enthralled by the atmosphere, menu offerings and great service! We whole-heartedly recommend this restaurant. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and we look forward to returning…..very frequently!“
“Really cool place, it's right in the middle of the city so there is no parking. The place has a cool vibe, and a bar right when you walk in. Some of the aesthetic was kind of cheesy though, with the pillars and arches everywhere but there was a giant mural on one wall that was cool. The food was a little pricey, but boy was it delicious. We didn't try any of the expensive dinners, but we ordered some salad and the Greek spread combo that comes with four different spreads of your choice. Our waiter was very friendly and had a good attitude, he was almost more excited about the food than we were. Had a great experience would visit again.“
“Been rockin' with this joint since literally day one when they opened next door to campus. Day ONE. The folks who own/run it are incredibly warm and kind. Always kind service. The food is always fresh. Sad day when they shut down the campus location and went downtown only. I could walk three blocks when they had the campus location. However, lunch around noon-1230 gets PACKED now. But their employees work very fast, but attentively.I always get a make your own bowl. Loaded with power greens and nearly every veggie item they have. Always get the chicken kabob as my protein option. Their hummus and sauces/dressings are to die for.Prices are oddly low. Been going there for nearly seven years now and will happily continue. A genuine joy in serving folks, always fresh, always delicious, low prices and the place is always spotless clean.**Side note: I admire the dignity in which the manager and employees treat homeless folks who come in. Just a caveat. But they always treat them with warmth and respect whereas most others wouldnt.“
“LOVE this place! The service is awesome (they'll actually remember your face and order tendencies!), The food is exceptional and fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed, warm and inviting, and the prices are great to boot.My dad and I constantly go in there to grab lunch on the weekdays. We always split the Mediterranean platter (with an extra order of warm pita bread!) and Dad grabs a beer. They have a great selection of beers!“
“Came here several times. They got various sandwiches, hot dogs, and gyros. Their meat is always juicy and cheesy. I love the grilled mushroom, green and pepper in the gyros so much! Their prices increased a little bit these years, but they still get special offers everyday.“
“Best Greek food I’ve had in years. Amazing service, the friendliness family owned restaurant ever. The family treated me so well. The food was out of this world, jumbo spicy gyro almost put me into a coma. If you’re questioning coming here, stop questioning and go. Thank you to the “
“I've been going to Hella's for 20 years. The owners are good people, and the food is always great. It hasn't changed at all over the years!! I've tried almost everything but always go back to the sausage breakfast sandwich. It's really good! The sausage is mild, lighter in color, and tastes different than normal breakfast sausage. I've heard some call it farm sausage? Not sure if that's accurate, but it's delicious regardless! The vegetables are so fresh that you can smell them when you open the sandwich box. Rare thing anymore! 10/10 for quality and freshness!“
“Lauren took phone order for 4 different items, had them ready exactly as she stated and brought them out to us with a big smile and great attitude. All our specific components were fresh, hot, and tasted so very good. The small calzones hardly fit on a dinner plate. They could feed up to 4 people! We continue enjoying meals from this particular Cottage Inn location. Kudos!“
“Amazing food, one of the best Greek shops I've been too. Lashish makes amazing food, I got a drink fries and a gyro all for under 10 dollars which is unheard of for most places. I got the food quickly and all food was hot and fresh when I got it. Overall some of the best takeout experience I've ever had.“
“Got the classic, jumbo gyro came with a great amount of meat and was extremely reasonably priced. The bar itself is amazing to sit down and watch a game at, the staff is friendly my wife got the chicken euro and my daughter got the meatballs… Everybody was very happy with their meals.“
“Great experience with Greek Express! They fed our large group of 20 no problem and it was super fast and easy to get lunch for our team. Would highly recommend as it’s a great option for quick serve at a great price point! The food was high quality and delicious. Thanks Greek Express!“
“This restaurant is solid! Providing tasty Greek food with fast food service, though with a much more upscale vibe than any fast food establishment, this is easily one of the best eateries on Fifth Avenue. They have phenomenal gyros. (Ordinarily I am afraid to get gyros in Chicago, but the meat here is trustworthy and delicious.) Even better than the regular gyros (on pita), I recommend the gyros sub for a creative twist on a classic.“
“Hot, fresh food and friendly service in the drive thru! Recommend the walnut baklava and onion rings. The jumbo gyro is truly jumbo, saucy and delicious (I recommend a fork!)I rarely go to Hilliard, but I know what I'm eating next time I'm there.“
“This was probably the best falafel I have ever had! Family had gyros, and we all were very satisfied. Caution, they have a Buffalo sauce has a little zip to it, but I couldn't stop eating the fries. Was served by the owner Mohammed, a very nice man. Stop in and say hi tell him John sent ya!“
“This is the most unbelievable food I've had in my life. It was my first time so I wasn't familiar with the prices and items so I just picked whatever looked good. It came out to 20 dollars. Whatever I got was cooked really well and tasted like something you'd find at the most expensive restaurant. One of the things I got was a honey mustard tasting chicken. It was so delicious. The food here is incredibly filling and hearty. I don't even think I could eat the rest of the day after getting something from here. The only thing I didn't like was the nan/pita bread they gave. It was awful.“
“Move to the area and stopped to grab lunch. Love the environment, food, and staff. Excited to come back and grab their breakfast but this time it was the gyro which was super yummy. The Lemon Meringue pie is house made and is AMAZING. Perfection. I would come here just for the pie alone. Stephanie was amazing and super nice. Loved the owner. I look forward to weekly breakfast and mimosas.“
“The food from this place is great and the customer service is great as well. I always get the famous gyro with lamb beat and all the vegies and is delicious. French fries are always crispy and fresh. Recommend this place 10/10 in the powell/dublin area.“
“I worked here many, many moons ago. When it was still called "Acropolis". The owner, Fred, is genuinely just a good person. The food is always fresh and it's absolutely delicious. The kitchen was always clean. You can tell they take great pride in their food, their staff, and the community. Good to see they're still there and continuing to expand.“
“Their regular gyros are excellent and have been enjoyed by all of my family and friends who've been introduced. Whether you're an OSU student, in-town for the night life, or just visiting, Apollo's Greek Kitchen is an excellent, affordable choice and I can't recommend their regular gyro enough (I highly-recommend it be ordered "regular"; I highly-recommend resisting the urge to customize this menu item)! The staff is always notable friendly and fast. Anytime I've ordered in-person or via DoorDash, the quality of Apollo's food has been consistently excellent.I am not affiliated with the restaurant and typically don't leave reviews, but their food is so good that it has to be shared with others!Order a "regular gyro" today! You'll see that no embellishments were made!- Tyler, Tech By TradeKid-friendliness: Their regular gyros are not spicy and have a great and appropriate flavor that has been enjoyed by many family and friends with even the most-sensitive of taste-buds.“
“Good quality food and wonderful atmosphere. You can truly feel the greek culture and taste the care put on their lamb.Prices are slightly high, but overall worth the try. Recommend to keep an eye on soda fountain, drinks usually flat and ice machine not working. Other than that, good place to try some Greek staples like Gyros and Lamb Chops.“
