“This was the first time here. We didn't know what to expect. We got the Mac and cheese, linguine with sauteed shrimp, and zucchini noodles. Both were really good. The Mac and cheese noodles could have been cooked more but my kids loved it. I also got a Caesar salad side. For $4, it could have been bigger. But overall the food was good. Definitely a place we'll be back to visit.Vegetarian options: Zucchini noodlesDietary restrictions: Low sodiumKid-friendliness: I had 6 kids in there. Their were a lot of kids in their their age. I didn't have to worry about my kids being absolutely quiet. And the staff was so helpful when I needed something.“
“A very clean and beautiful restaurant, quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Was greeted immediately and seated at a table, the man who was working there was super friendly and showed me the menu, gave recommendations and I ended up ordering the "dapanji stirred noodles(w/ bone in chicken thigh)" medium spice for $15.95 + $1.20 tax, portion was large and price is affordable and fair. It was delicious. I didn't get a picture because I started eating it as soon as it hit the table and it surprised me even. The food was well balanced and the potato was a nice touch to the dish which I enjoyed a lot. Was a little heavy on the sauce but very tasty none the less. The chicken was on the bone but was soft and didnt take much effort to get it off, was nice and tender. Took the rest I couldnt eat Togo and they even have reusable to go containers which was pretty cool, you won't have to worry about any broth spilling out on the car ride home.Definitely will be coming back and bringing my friends with me.“
“Drove up from Dayton to check this spot out, as my husband and I love trying new foods. This did not disappoint! Those KFC wings were the best wings I've ever had. I would buy the sauce!! ? My husband thought the cheese ramen was okay- would try a different one next time, but all my food was delicious.“
“Food is great, wide range of choices, parking is easy, usually not more than a short wait. Located in a large plaza, there is also a Japanese food market next door: eat at Tensuke and then stop by the grocery store to find some things to take home and cook! Great combination. Plus, it gets better, there's a little Japanese gift shop right around the corner! Grab a meal, browse gifts, and take home groceries. This place is such an easy choice!Dietary restrictions: Keto friendlyCarnivore friendlyPaleo friendlyLow carb friendlyParking: Big parking lot right at the door - super easy access“
“Hand stretched noodles, hand made dumplings, and delicious soup broth like back home. Look, this is not one of those fancy, white tablecloth restaurants. Lan Zhou is a tiny, no frills spot where you can get homemade comfort food at very reasonable prices!手工拉面,手工水饺,家乡的味道,好?If you are driving, you might score one of the on-street spots in front of the door. Otherwise, park in the giant Student Union garage right across High Street. It’s a couple of bucks but covered, safe, and well lit.“
“The meal arrived promptly and was delightful. The eggplant was heavenly, and I enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken and green beans. The mapu tofu was okay but lacked the desired level of spiciness. The rice cakes were tasty but unfortunately not crispy, rather soggy. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was pleasant. Our servers were incredibly kind. Overall, the food satisfied our cravings, and we would happily return for another visit. Large portions and everything was reasonably priced.“
“I go to many Chinese restaurants looking for something that isn't American-Chinese masquerading as authentic gourmet Chinese. This place is about as close as you're going to get in Columbus for real Asian food. It probably helps they are conveniently located next to the best Asian supermarket in the city.I have went a few times, and enjoyed every visit. I tried the duck bone stirfry, which was awesome. They have these dumplings in chilli oil that are just killer. Order it just for the oil and add it to your rice. Pour it on your eggroll, or whatever. It's that damn good. I think it's a homemade szechuan peppercorn oil. They have many Thai dishes as well. I got their Thai Red Curry. It's way better than Hunan Lions Curry, but honestly just average. I make my own Thai curry from scratch though. I do give them props for at least using shrimp paste, and having some flavor.Their chicken egg rolls and ragoons are also good.So much crazy stuff on the menu for adventurous eaters. Want a Duck Blood or Frog based dish? They have many. Lots of tripe dishes, and other odd stirfry's. I will be trying those soon and editing this review.Overall, the food is pretty good if you order right, and if you don't order right, it's still OK.As far as service, it's an Asian restaurant. Completely different culture. Come here for the food, not the service. Be happy a restaurant exists in Columbus that isn't Human Lion or Lucky Dragon.I have added Xin Wei to my rotation. Out of probably over 100 restaurants in the city, this is one of a out 5 that I have given this honor.Come here for real Asian food, and you will be happy. Come here for the Karen American-Chinese specials, and miss out on what this place has to offer.“
“The food from here was great. I'd never had pho nor a Bahn mi, and I enjoyed both. The "kids size" of the pho was absolutely plenty. The only minus was the service - the people there absolutely radiated "I hate my job." The kid with the greasy mullet had a scowl on his face the whole time and the girl seemed like anything you asked her was an annoyance. Pho I would try again - this place, maybe not.“
“The staff was very busy with to-go orders and customers inside but they still were able to seat us in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere of this sit-down restaurant was very relaxing and communal, sharing long tables with other customers. The apps and sushi came out fresh but didn’t overfill, it was a great dinner. Sooooo recommend the lava buns! They are a sweet bun kind of dessert.Vegetarian options: There are many ramen and miso options across the board. For those who are pescatarians, all the sushi rolls had some combo of shrimp, tuna, yellowtail, or other kind of fish. Lots of fresh options that don’t have meat.Parking: I’d estimate 40-50 spots in the back parking lot, and some street parkingKid-friendliness: Kids are totally welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can get through the door and there are low tables where wheelchair users can eat with their friends and family“
“I have seen so many crossing bridge noodle videos but never tried it until I came here. It was even better than I imagined. The dishes were served with an excellent presentation. The soup had a rich flavor but not too salty. I loved adding those tiny and fresh dishes to the soup to complete the dish. Of course, the noodles were silky and pleasantly chewy. I have not mentioned that the vibe and the services exceeded expectations. I will definitely come back again and again.“
“I was thrilled to hear this Asian restaurant was still open. It is under new ownership and the food is just as good! The portions were very generous and the staff was friendly. The owner was very helpful and appreciative of our business. The strip of businesses is all that remains from City Center Mall. Very glad this restaurant is still open. I'll be back!“
“This location has amazing customer service. I ordered a dish that didn’t taste right so I asked one the workers if I could get something else and she was extremely kind as well as understanding and went out of her way to help. I didn’t catch her name but she was a young blonde lady in an all black outfit with great eyelashes. She deserves a raise!!!“
“Their yellow curry is sooooooo good!!! The flavor is amazing! I get mine with tofu and it's high quality tofu - not that scrawny kind but hearty, and again, fresh tofu. Their vegetables are always so fresh and crisp. I love this place. And imagine this: reasonable prices with generous portions. ❤️“
“Excellent, fast and friendly service priced by Ashton and manager will. Provided kind and reliable service during my visit. They exceeded my expectations with there kind gestures and delicious food. Thank you again guys for a great experience.“
“This place has very well labeled vegetarian options which is always a plus. I enjoyed the small portion size which is great for not over eating and not having leftovers since we were on the road. I liked my dish, the garlic cream zoodles, but my partners Japanese pan noodles were very bland and disappointing. Prices are alright for the smaller portions you get, I won’t complain. We also enjoyed a coke de Mexico which is not so different from normal coke but in my opinion better than normal coke.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“
“Wow. First time here and cannot say enough good things! Everything we had was delicious! The sushi has such a fresh taste, we had the Mars roll and id easily say 10/10. I had the hibachi chicken and it was cooked perfectly. Didn't even need the yum-yum sauce, the flavors were so good. Though I did try it and it was delicious too!“
