We got to meet and chat with Grandma Tammy while enjoying our meal, which was a treat in itself. The hospitality we received here was so welcoming!

All of our food was good! We also really enjoyed the desert.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this family earned this one without effort. Thank you again for the conversation and full stomach!

So my fiancee and I wanted some down home comfort food and googled close locations. Nestled over right at the start of East Canton was Grandma Tammy's located in a brick plaza type building. It gives that vintage yet comforting family vibe. With a smaller menu but again it's a family owned & operated with some definite love in her cooking. We enjoyed her meatloaf as I had the JoJo's (best JoJo's I've ever had!) and my significant other had her delicious corn casserole 🥘. We couldn't leave without dessert and I just had to try the honey apple pie 🥧 and he had a yummy armeretto sundae topped with hot fudge whipped cream & the famous cherry 🍒 on top. Super friendly service & welcoming atmosphere! I highly recommend you make your way to try out this little hidden gem 🙏

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and it was so refreshing to have a scrumptious home-cooked meal!! I devoured every bite of the homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, and broccoli with cheese on top. Then someone came in for another special, and after hearing about it…I ordered a second dinner for carry out… The Swiss chicken. My mom had to stop me from eating the entire second meal. It was so delicious! We each got ice cream for dessert and again, it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back again for lunch and dinner. The owners were very friendly and personable, and truly cared about us having a great experience. Definitely a hidden gem!

From the start the man who greeted us opened the door for my Mother in law who is in a wheelchair. The service was excellent and the food was great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to feel welcome and wanted.

What a cute, warm and welcoming place! We stopped by for a quick bite and let them know we were in a hurry. They accommodated us by getting the food out fast. Even better than fast was that it was delicious. My son had the chicken tenders while I had the Swiss steak. He ate his too fast for me to get a picture but he gave his food 5 stars! Mine was delicious and it tasted like HOME! Loved every bite! It was our first time but won’t be our last. ❤️❤️❤️

The staff were friendly, funny, wonderful and treat you like a friend. The service was top notch. And the atmosphere was just like when you would visit grandma. Definitely recommend to anyone around! I’m definitely returning.

Upon entering, we were greeted warmly and told to sit anywhere we liked. There was a small array of kitchen tables (not booths or restaurant tables but home kitchen tables) from which to choose. Our server was a very kind gentleman. The menu was simple with an option of home cooked meal daily specials. We had Swiss steak and meatloaf, of which we both enjoyed. Our dinners were served on plates with the same design as the ones I had in my home growing up. Conway Twitty songs were playing low in the background. A large fish tank lit up in the corner, and decor was reminiscent of what your family members might've had in their kitchens. Good food, good nostalgia, and good people.

One thing I'll mention was that upon entering was an odor of sewer, likely a backup somewhere. Such circumstance is not the fault of the establishment but rather an issue needed to be fixed by the landlord or the city. Please don't let that deter you as it is not a reflection of the business' quality.

The food is very good! Atmosphere a little tacky. Looks like someone brought their collection from home. The gentleman who waited on us, had on dirty jeans and had animal hair all over his shirt. I was a little concerned it might get in my food. Some booths would be appreciated very much. I love the fact that items are procured locally, however the lengthy conversation, at our table, was awkward and we have heard it many times. Interferes with date night. Overall good food, we just find ourselves passing by, due to unprofessional staff, tacky atmosphere and limited menu. Homemade desserts are appreciated and quality ice cream! I think if they redecorated, uniformed their help, got some booths and stuck to professional interactions, they would have a waiting line. The home made daily specials are delicious. Wish there were home fries.
