Not just your normal hotdog place. The fries are some of the best I have had, they also offer more than just hotdogs, they have fish, chicken and Italian sausage. So anyone should be able to find something.
I've lived out of state for many years but grew up eating here and always visit the Hot Dog Shoppe as soon as I come into town. Some told me it wasnt the same because the new owners made some changes. Food was good, but definitely not the same. Original is definitely better! If you want to change something update the interior a little, lol. I think it's the exact same as it has always been.
Starting going here when I was working in their town. Hot dogs just taste better here! Don't know why but they do. They always have had great staff and it's always clean. They have many ways to dress up hot dogs but I go old school with mustard and onions. And even when they are busy( they usually are)! Service is quick. Never disappointed when I go there.
