The food arrives quickly and is consistently delicious and great, with heaping portions served hot and very hot. The carne asada medium is cooked to perfection, and the rice and beans are a nice accompaniment. Free chips and salsa are brought to the table upon seating, adding to the welcoming and family friendly ambiance. The restaurant's decor is nicely done in southwest style, and the atmosphere is kid-friendly. The $10 fajitas, $6 margaritas, and Monday's $1 taco nights are a great value, and there is a wide variety of margaritas to choose from. The camarones a la diabla dish was absolutely lovely with true heat. The establishment is immaculately clean, and the helpful and friendly servers, including attentive bartenders, make the experience even better. Overall, it’s a good spot to try with the best specials, and the back patio is perfect during warm months. Customers look forward to their visits and will be seeing El Palenque again!
