Food is very good, mom & pop-type variety. Waitress was nice but a little too “chatty-cathy” with apparently a local couple. There were times I needed something or a drink refill and our server just yacked away with the aforementioned party, like they hadn’t seen each other in 10 years. Somewhat annoying. I was visiting from out-of-state. Clean atmosphere and everything looked presentable for the surroundings. A cute place.

We stopped midway in a drive from New York to Chicago, and this spot did not disappoint. The combinations were unique and the custard/ice cream was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was humming with activity of people enjoying a late summer dessert. Would definitely recommend!

You always have to stop at places like this because you know they are a hidden gems. This place is the bomb when it comes to ice cream and food omg! I usually get the bucket sundae for the little bucket candies you get and the cheeseburger is delicious.

1st stop here. Came with my mom and dad while I was visiting. Dad and I had tenderloin sandwiches. They were just a tad bigger than the bun, but thicker and juicier than most tenderloins. I enjoyed it. I had a side of cheese curds. They were good. Pic included. Dad had onion rings, he said he liked them. Mom had the cream chicken sandwich and fried mushrooms. Sandwich was a normal sized hamburger bun but she said was good, and they were stingy on the mushrooms. She only got 5 small mushrooms for around $2.50 I believe. It was around $24 for all 3 of us, and we are getting ice cream after for dessert. They have ample outdoor booth style seating. We had their dog (aka, my little brother ;-) and it was a perfect day to dine outside under their shaded seating area. They love this place and have came here often for ice cream and they will definitely return. I am from out of state though ;-)
I love your Dairy Treat..and this weeks Coffee was great..after stopping for cones we went back and bought a quart of it...Hats off to the crew...you do great (from the lady who always gets the baby cone) lol..
