Visiting Ernest Scarano's as part of the NEO Distillery Passport was such a wonderful experience. I'm in my mid 50's but didn't start drinking whiskey until my 50th birthday... just didn't like it. (Tequila is my go to) If I'd had access to Ernest Scarano's whiskey as a younger person, I may have dived in earlier. The Old Homocide lived up to it's description. Great location in downtown Elmore. The whiskey is spot on. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique bottle. Head across the street to Mantiques once you're done picking out a bottle.

Stopped in for the first time today! Got a sample of almost everything and went home with the Winter rye and can’t wait to make some craft cocktails with it! But also good straight.
