An authentic fun Italian restaurant - with great stories from Mama herself.
Authentic Italian style, we ordered Pesto Polpette as appetizer and Pizza Capricciosa. It amazing that they use eggplant instead of olives to add more flavorful taste. Services are great, it’s our first time visit here and they helped us understanding menu and introducing pasta and wine. We have a good conversation with one of the owners daughter, she shared how their family keeps Italian traditions especially food culture and be proud of it and added to those dishes. Very good experience.
Nice little hole in the wall place. I was not prepared for the warm, cozy feel when I turned the corner inside the door in a shopping strip. And the food was amazing! Try the lobster ravioli with the Rosella sauce. Mama is also on site and will surely stop by your table to say hi.
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - Mama Catena's in Euclid is a true hidden gem! My friends and I had a fantastic experience there this past Saturday. We started with the calamari, which was excellent, followed by a fresh salad. For my main course, I thoroughly enjoyed the pork chop as my entree. The real star of the show, however, was the cassata cake for dessert. It's unbelievably light yet bursting with flavor – the kind of dessert that makes you keep going back for another bite. Definitely get it to share (though you might not want to!).
Great atmosphere, friendly and great food
I forgot my credit card there yesterday and I went back today and they gave me Incredible calzone.
Thank You

Absolutely wonderful fresh food and a very warm and welcoming environment.
Spectacular food in a family dinner atmosphere.
Had a 10 person retirement dinner there last night and were impressed by the geniality of the owners, Rina, and staff(love you Mama!). The food and service was 10 out of 10. I've eaten there on several occasions and each dish I've had was remarkable. This place is a gem !
We had a great, delicious dinner with friends. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will come back again, no doubt.
Mama Catena Vino e' Cucina is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, and being greeted by Mama Catena herself was a special touch. It felt like dining with family.
For our Valentine's Day dinner, I ordered the Carbonara, while my date enjoyed the Involtini, along with Arancini and Bruschetta appetizers. We finished the meal with the cannoli cake, which was a perfect, not-too-sweet ending. The house white wine was a pleasant accompaniment to my pasta.
Overall, the food was excellent. The Involtini was a standout, and the cannoli cake was a delightful treat. My Carbonara was rich and flavorful, though the pancetta was a tad salty for my taste. We also noticed the bruschetta was a bit heavy on the oil, softening the bread, and a touch salty as well. A minor note - we never actually received the complimentary bread, mentioned in so many reviews, which would have been helpful to balance the saltiness of the bruschetta and pasta.
Despite these minor points, the quality of the ingredients, the delicious flavors, and the exceptional service made for a memorable dining experience. Mama Catena Vino e' Cucina is a must-try for anyone seeking authentic Italian-American cuisine in a cozy, familial setting. Highly recommended!

Cozy casual but elegant restaurant with outstanding food and service. And to top it off—mama Cantena herself takes time to talk with all the customers.
Wonderful ambiance and sublime food.
Local Euclid eatery specializing in Italian cuisine. Great wine selection, and sometimes, a serenade from Mama Catena herself!

I live in California and Mama Catena is the first place I visit every time I'm in Cleveland. The food is excellent (I dream of the involtini with the rosella sauce and the cannoli cake). I promise myself I'll try something new, but that damn involtini just calls me back every single time.
But you don't come here just for the food - you come for the family atmosphere and a visit at your table from Mama herself! She's the epitome of an Italian grandmother, and if you're lucky, you'll catch her dancing to the accordion music.
Landed in Cleveland at 6, was being served the gnocchi by 7:30. As always, amazing! My favorite restaurant when I come home.
