Down home, delicious, generous portions ….served with a smile (thank you Amy!)- grits were banging, and egg breakfast options were endless. Skip the chains and come here for home cooking!

I’ve been in the south for 19 years; recently came back and my sister and bestie treated me to this restaurant. It was a good vibe, old school music, our server Amy was phenomenal (and congratulations) Anywho, I personally think the food was great. Kudos to you That Breakfast Place

Food was delicious, prices just right, and good music for ambiance made the atmosphere relaxing. Amy was a delight serving our party of 9 and chef Rod cooked each food selection with great hands. Will definitely be back!!

Eggs were horrible Blueberry pancakes Were horrible. I don’t know how you could get those things so bad . only thing good was the price but still not going back.
By far the best breakfast in Ohio! Everything is perfect. The bacon is thick juicy and crispy. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. Very clean. I love the atmosphere. We are now loyal customers. I will drive 40 miles just to eat here.

Came by this place pretty much by accident after we were in the neighborhood and decided to look for a place to have brunch nearby. A very cool vibe inside. I expected this place to be your run of the mill breakfast diner serving your staple bacon, eggs, and hash brown breakfast. Oh no, no, no!!! Try a handful of different omelets, breakfast sandwiches, chicken and waffles, just about *anything* & grits, etc. It’s a very eclectic and exciting menu. Had a hard time deciding, but I went with the shrimp and grits. WOW!! This ain’t your auntie’s shrimp and grits. All I’ve gotta say is you gotta try it! The food did take a while to arrive. So be patient, especially if they’re busy. But as they say, great food takes time. It was worth the wait!

We had food ordered today for Black Friday at our business for employees, and let me tell you the food was absolutely amazing. I don't know what they put on those wings as far as seasoning, but I am here for it. Was 🔥 same with waffles. Most places with waffles they are bland, like at least put some vanilla in batter, but this place went over the top with them. All the food was amazing. Will definitely make my way up there for breakfast sometime.

The food was altogether spectacular, I have a lack of words for how amazing the waffles are. I am not from the area and I will be missing this food when I'm home. Overall the service is great, but specifically our server, Tifinni, was so sweet and contributed to the homey atmosphere of the place. Bonus points because they have a variety of cute mugs for their coffee instead or a set of plain ones 😁

I placed a DoorDash order. Parking is TIGHT!! Small lot. I go inside and I wasn’t greeted, I actually spoke first. This is a Black-owned merchant for those who care. My food was not ready on-time. It ended up being 15min late to come out. I was told on more than 1 occasion that “my food would be out shortly”, “preparing your order now”, ….. yeah, wasn’t true. Just keep it a buck with customers. Had they communicated and said the order was running behind I would not have came and wasted my time sitting watching everyone else eat. The waiting area is not really a waiting area. There are 2 chairs facing diners who are eating so there’s that awkwardness. The place is TIGHT inside also. One of the daughter (employees) was wiping down the tables. I noticed she just did a basic wipe down. I saw greasy fingerprints on the chairs as she never wiped the chairs down only a once over on the table. (2 thumbs down). That’s not how you wipes a table down after diners eat. Anyway, while waiting, everyone else is coming in there and leaving with their orders. I then swallowed some spit and had a slight coughing spell. I asked for a courtesy cup of (TAP) water. The other daughter told me I had to buy a bottled water for $3. I said “ma’am can I please just have a small cup of water from the faucet”. The female co-owner came out and insisted that I purchased the water. I was appalled. That is not good customer service. She said “you want it”? I looked at her with utter disgust and said “nahhh I’m good”! I will NEVER give you another penny. I made sure she saw me with the water bottle too. My customers would never be treated like that. Customer care is a lost profession. As far as the food, it was not the best. The steak breakfast burrito did not taste like steak was in it. I do not recommend that.
