Absolutely amazing gem! I finally made it in and I am honestly mad at myself for not trying it sooner. The menu is next level and every detail is executed perfectly. Chef James is absolutely killing it in the kitchen, and you can taste the passion in every dish. The house made craft cocktails are just as impressive and thoughtfully curated. So proud of my friend and what he has created here. If you have not been yet, make a reservation and thank me later. 🍸🔥

Your BEEF ON WECK sandwich USED to be the best. This is the second time I had awful, rubbery, dried out beef with a minuscule amount of meat on my sandwich…and an up charge for asking for a little extra dipping juice. Never again will I pay $20 for this sandwich!
I do hope you have the same pork meal you had at New Years last year. Seems like everything is going downhill. I will be in for the pork. Fingers crossed!!

Great food, terrible service. The old white lady added a 20% fee to my meal for a large party, a party of 2 people. And they try and make you feel bad for paying with Apple Pay. Check your receipt they will try and scam you a couple bucks and the other employees won’t help.

Greeted at the door by the owner/ manager, not sure which but it was appreciated! first time here, drinks and food is amazing! I highly recommend!

This was my first visit. I previewed the menu and had an idea what I would have before I arrived. I was greeted and seated immediately and advised about the soup of the day and asked if I had questions about the drink menu. I decided to have the Ahi Tuna Melt and I highly recommend it. Overall, the food and the service were excellent and the portions were generous. It was a bit pricey but not unexpected because it's advertised as upscale. I think it lives up to the hype.

BE AWARE THAT THIS RESTAURANT CHARGES A 3.25% SERVICE CHARGE IF YOU PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD. You won't find out until you get the bill, which is illegal in Ohio. They are supposed to post surcharges in a place so you'll see it prior to ordering. That's why I'm not giving this review 5 stars.

On the other hand, this tiny restaurant is beautiful. Be sure to sit at a table in the bar area. Drinks are great. The service was excellent. Nice entree menu, but a little expensive. The pork chops and short ribs were covered in too much gravy, even on the candied carrots. I will order the gravy on the side if I go back.

Not sure I would recommend, unless they get rid of the service charge.

Nector of the Tupelo

We visited Nector of the Tupelo tonight and it was truly one of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered the short rib stroganoff and it was absolutely to die for--served extra warm, the perfect comfort dish for a chilly Cleveland evening.

For dessert, the beignets were a standout, every bit as good as the ones we've had in New Orleans. The drinks were equally impressive--highly recommend the pomegranate martini!

A special highlight was getting to chat with Chef James, whose passion and hospitality made the entire experience even more memorable.

We'll definitely be back soon!
