We had my sons birthday there in their private room and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the service was amazing and they were so friendly with the kids and loved including my daughter to be as if she was working. Kitchen was not at capacity or extremely busy. Assistant Manager falsely claimed to be the Manager and was unwilling to offer any compensation for the wait. A.M stated 45min is standard wait and insinuated I was trying to get a discount on bar tab because I waited until the bill came out. A.M falsely claimed I was the only table that had complained about the wait. Waitress clearly indicated a table near me also complained and received a free appetizer as I was requesting to speak to the manager. The unwillingness to make minor compensations or take accountability is the reason another dollar will never be spent again at T.P. Waitress was tipped fairly at 20%.“

“Tried Old Dayton Pizza for the first time today and it was AMAZING! You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The margarita pizza and pepperoni pizza were 10/10. Beth the bartender was extremely friendly and informative (and great drinks). We’ve been looking for a pizza to compare to Western New York and this is it. As a Dayton girl, it’s a sad day to say this beats Marion’s. But SO good.“

“This is a laid back establishment. Cold beer and friendly staff. Honestly has a 'Cheers' feel to it. They make their own pizza's to order with about 4 ingredients available. They also have soft pretzels with cheese. I have been going to there for several years. During the week there are darts and people who come in after work to enjoy cocktails. They have a lot of steel dart boards, a soft tip board where you can 'play' against other bars via video and a pool table. On the weekends they have bands. I've seen many great musicians there!“

Chicken, cheese, and dry beans. Chicken had no flavoring, no seasoning. Plain chicken. It was awful. And happy hour? What a joke. .70 cents off drink prices? I'd rather spend my money at Taco Bell.“

“Applebees was amazing! Zachariah made the difference, swift orders, comedic relief and all around a fun guy to talk to. Kept our drinks coming all night long and made sure the vibe of our 8 person group was happy and well served.
Was sad to see that the outside lights were turned off, couldn’t tell they were open, Zachariah was unhappy to hear this as well because there was 12 patrons in store. After this experience I was saddened to think People in Kettering may not even know how good their experience could be at Applebees.
I will be returning hopefully to be Served by Zachariah.“

“This is our upscale price goto! We LOVE Applebee's! The seating is comfortable, the atmosphere is great and the food, oh, the food is delicious. We go often enough that we have our favorite servers that we know by name. Good food, great atmosphere and great servicewhat's not to like?“

“I’m not gonna leave a 1star because I try to be fair. This location is usually always a 5star. Atmosphere, food, management was all 5 stars today. However service from the to go specialist was a 1star. I always order online to get points and exclusives and my wife always follows with a phone call to request it be made fresh out of the last 5 times doing so 4/5 it was made fresh. Which is why we do so. But instead of asking if I wanted silverware with my order the to go specialist educated me on how the food comes out is the best they can do so we don’t need to call everytime. Definitely was rude. And she lacks hospitality.

UPDATE-came back today and ate inside. The same togo specialist that we had a problem with ran out appetizers out for us. Took our dirty plates away. And offered us a refill. She totally redeemed herself. The server got upset at her for getting us a refill. But I think that's outstanding service from a togo specialist and shows a lot of hospitality. So maybe I caught her on a bad day before. But I take back what I said on the original review and would recommend this location.“
