Another dinner at Captain D’s and another dinner watching my husband eat while they remade my salmon dinner. My dinner was ordered with no bread sticks and no hush puppies because I have gluten allergies. The young man at the counter told the kitchen staff to not have the bread sticks and hush puppies on my plate because of the gluten allergy. Out comes my husband’s dinner and they tell me that they need to remake my dinner. The last time this happened my husband called Joe, the owner, he was told that it was an easy fix and he would talk with his staff. I guess that didn’t work. Getting tired of having to wait on my dinner because they keep screwing it up.

I don't live close to this location so we ate half our meal in the car. My husband started complaining his stomach hurted and felt the urge to puke. And when we got home we seen the fish is raw in the middle and most of it was ate in the car.☹️

Waited 15 minutes for a preorder while 6 cars went through the drive thru after I arrived. Two guys up front cussing in front of customer while having small talk. Manager left the building having them fend for themselves. Eventually just left because I guess the drive thru was the only priority. Wasted thirty minutes of my life.

I live within a mile of this place and I'm sure I haven't eaten here at least 10 years. For some reason I decided to give them a try today. I had a catfish meal and added a piece of the regular fish to it as well. The fish was OK; the Hush Puppies were terrible and I would never order them again. The service was simply pitiful - they were far too busy taking care of their drive through orders and their DoorDash orders. I asked for tartar sauce for my fish and they were very stingy with the portions. Also, I had to remind them that they owed me a soft drink when I was picking up my food. While I was waiting to carry this out there was an 80-year-old man praying for someone in the restaurant.... yelling and speaking in tongues; that was a lovely experience. It was an expensive meal for average food. The place did not look all that clean and the bathroom was in miserable shape. Beware....

The staff was working hard and fast to meet the needs of the customers. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. I'm sure this will be resolved before we return. Hopefully at the end of that night the staff had time to clean the floors in the tables, which were a bit sticky.
