My wife and I arrived late (aroung 9:40 p.m.) after a movie but it was still very busy. The vibe is strong neighborhood gathering place with groups of friends. We are somewhat older then the average guests and the noise level was substantially higher than we are comfortable with. But, true to its reputation, everything else was great. We had squash and Brussel sprouts, octopus, ravioli, pork belly AND the special Wagyu steak. All were really great, flavors and the texture was really unique with the pairings of vegetables and seasonings. I loved the octopus, my wife thought it was too spicy with the Chilli caviar.

We had a lovely evening here. I had originally made a reservation for the patio, but the weather was crummy, so I contacted the restaurant to see if we could get a table. While all the tables were booked, we had a decent set up at the bar and had a lovely time sampling some of the small plates. We had several of the day's specials, which were outstanding. Service and food were great. We will definitely be back, and we live 50 mins away!
