We just ate at FBC tonight for the first time. We all tried something different. Burgers, flatbread, sandwich, soup. Everything was great. The bad thing was we had to wait for about an hour. We got there at 6 pm on a Friday, and they said there were 11 parties waiting in front of us. There were several empty tables most of the night that they weren't seating for some reason. The only thing we could think of was that they were pacing a short staffed kitchen? We did find out, too late, that you can get on the wait list online before you get there, so we'll do that next time. Interestingly enough, by the time we were seated, at 7, it really died down. Probably no wait at that time. The wait is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. We'll go back for sure.

Good service. Nice place. Average beer. If you're in the area, good stop.

Found plastic in salad. Burger was raw. Put outside in the cold.

We dined at Findlay Brewing Company this week, and it’s safe to say they’ve mastered the art of “fine, I guess.”

The beer? Drinkable, but more enthusiasm than expertise. It’s the kind of beer you consume and immediately forget, like the playlist at a high school reunion.

The food? Functional. Not one of us had anything to say—no “this is great,” just silence and a bit of confusion over the fried pepperoni appetizer. (Pepperoni, as chips? Bold choice.) My chicken sandwich was aggressively ordinary, served with enough fries to feed half of Findlay.

The ambiance was standard semi-industrial brewery with high ceilings, and heating so robust it felt like a sauna. Outside, there’s a beer-making infographic partly blocked by an archway—a perfect metaphor for the evening: good intentions, mediocre execution. (photo attached)

Even the service was oddly rushed, with the check arriving well before closing time, but without anyone asking if we'd like a second round. At a brewery, of all places! My wife suspects they just wanted to close up and go home.

But here’s the thing—Findlay Brewing isn’t trying to dazzle. It’s a block from Marathon Oil’s headquarters, and it’s hard not to imagine middle-aged, middle-income office workers loving it for exactly what it is: predictable. Safe. A place where nothing will surprise you, challenge you, or linger in your memory beyond the time it takes to walk to your car.

If you’re looking for a brew pub that plays it safer than a middle manager’s khaki wardrobe, Findlay Brewing is your spot. For the rest of us? One visit is probably enough.

Good service and good food - mostly "pub fare," appetizers, etc., but nicely done. I will say that the prices seem a little high. While delicious, $19 for a burger is pretty expensive. I have owned and operated a restaurant, so I completely understand that food costs are astronomical right now. I just personally find it difficult to justify spending that on a pub meal, so while we like this place, it probably won't be on our usual rotation. More likely somewhere we'd bring guests from out of town or something like that.

The service was spot on. Got our food quickly and our server had the perfect amount of check ins, and was prompt with the check (a pet peeve.)

I had the Hancocker beer; it was fine. Others in our party got flights. There were no complaints but no rave reviews either.

I just wanted to share my positive experience from the wedding rehearsal dinner we attended on Friday, October 10, which was also a holiday weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. Although there was a slight hiccup ( communication issue) with a party delay early in the evening, the issue was resolved professionally. We are genuinely grateful for the exceptional service and the team's professionalism, understanding, and empathy in addressing concerns. We also want to apologize for the behavior of one particularly demanding guest before the issue was solve. When we arrived the staff handled the situation with grace, poise and professionalism that was amazing. Thank you for making our event memorable! We will add this place to our list of must-visit spots.

Found this brewery while visiting the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions about the beer and food. Definitely on my short list to visit when I'm in the area again.

The food is the best in town!!!

The service is always good. The atmosphere is great. The food isn't the best for a local brewery but it's still "good". The pricing is just outrageous. You're not going to go here for a night out. It's just going to be one of the places you stop along the way. It's outrageously expensive compared to any other local brewery in the area. We travel a lot and joke every time we stop somewhere nice that the bill is "still cheaper than FBC". The beer is definitely good but you're not necessarily going to find anything unique. The pricing really just overshadows everything good.

Used to love this place. No so much anymore. Considered, leaving before we even sat down due to feeling unwelcome by the staff members who seemed annoyed by our presence .Last visit I got up and walked out after sitting for 5 minutes without a drink order while 4 employees leaned at the end of the bar chatting. Won’t be back.

Really good food.

We stopped in today with our 4 kids. There was a bit of a wait while some tables cleared out, but the staff was courteous and got a table ready as quickly as possible.

Between the pretzel appetizer, monthly special, burgers, donut BLT, and kids chicken fingers everyone found something yummy!

The flight of beers I chose went well with the chicken Parmesan sandwich that I ordered.

No pictures of the actual food, but you'll see the menu, as well as January specials, and January activities.

Check their website for the active draft list.

I'm glad my wife only works a block away. We'll be back!

Really disappointed with the decline at FBC. Portions are smaller, priced the same or more and more than 50% of the time the order is wrong. Cooked incorrectly, missing items, wrong details. I don't understand why servers do not write the order down as this would solve the problem almost 100% of the time. Regular weekly customer that won't be going back anytime soon sadly.
