The gather never disappoints. My wife and I have been there a dozen times over the last 3 or 4 years. It's pricey but worth it. They have excellent wait staff, true chefs and excellent mixologists (not bartenders). We went there after trying something different at another Findlay restaurant which we hadn't been to in years. After being seated for 15 min with 4 waitstaff passing us and not even a hello, on a night where the were only 3 other tables being used, we bolted and went to our guaranteed location, The Gathering.

Exceptional experience of food, wine, and beer. Pork Chop was very tender, Ancho Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the duck wings were crispy, savory with a tangy sauce. Of course the Blue Berry Cobbler did not disappoint to finish it off. Mixed drink the Rose Goggles was very nice, and this sour apple wine pretty neat too. The young sous-chef was on grill tonight and cooked everything spectacularly. Lovely fine dining experience and will come back again.4.8/5

The was my second visit to the Gathering, and it had been almost a year since my last. It was okay. The wine was great and I thought reasonably priced. However the food was just okay. I had the Salmon and it was overcooked. Not unedible, but definitely not a $30+ piece of fish. Also, the service was rather slow and at times we were all sitting around without any wine or water for 5+ minutes. The patio was a nice environemnt, and I will likely still return, but it was just an average experience.
The food was delicious especially the dessert. The waitress however was awful. Mean and treated us with absolutely no respect. Called the next day multiple times but no answer. Left a message and a day later still haven’t heard back. Disappointed.

What a huge waste of time. 25 minutes before the waiter acknowledged we were there to bring a menu, 20 more minutes till he brought the wine. It was a really nice wine. 20 more minutes before he brought us the bill, spoiler alert. We were charged $15. to drink there. Got in line to pay. and no employees in the building, they were all out back at the patio for another 5 minutes. Never going back!
