Japan West did not disappoint, don’t let the front of the house fool you, there is plenty of seating inside. We had hibachi style and our chef Gabriel was amazing and personable, he entertained us while cooking and cooked our steak to perfection.

Had reservations at 730 and werent seated until 740, no problem. Then we sit at the hibachi for almost 30 min. And no water, not soup, not even the little bowl of chex mix. The food is good and they were somewhat busy but no excuse for not even speaking to us for a half hour. Do better. Edit: tried again and we got a table but 2 hours later and a lot of weird banter from the hibachi chef, I was ready to leave. I don't understand the way they pace the meal. Veggies, then some meat, then some sprouts and mushrooms, then more meat and finally rice. Why?

If I could give negative stars I would. Worse sushi I have ever had. The rolls would not stay together. The tuna had a smell so it was obviously bad. Over priced. I moved to Findlay a few months ago. The over all food in this town sucks. I drive an hour plus to go out to eat. I will never go back here. You want decent sushi in town… Krogers snow fox sushi has this place beat!

Excellent quality Japanese food, with a great, friendly staff. Been going here for 20+ years and they consistently provide great service and food. Both the hibachi style dining and sushi area dining are great options. Try the Ohio Roll if you want to eat some great vegetarian sushi and definitely try the garlic fried rice!

Amazing food atmosphere and people They have a culture of family, love, and kindness. When you go there, you really feel like you are a part of a family. And they try to remember your names. They also have some of the best chefs in findlay for their hibachi sushi and there every day meals. I personally favor there sushi especially the natto one not everyone's cup a tea but it especially is mine.
Staff moved quietly, but always knew what we needed.
